hmmm, games that is confirmed for this year and near future:
1. Octopath Traveler AND The World Ends With You - Final Remix.
2. FFXV Windows Edition - Really can't wait to sink my teeth into this!
3. Ni No Kuni 2 - Looks hype and I think I'll buy once I finish ffxv!
For games with no concrete release window:
1. Pokemon! (and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, hopefully)
2. That new IP by Monolith Soft, concept art looks dope.
God of War
The Last of Us Part II
Metroid Prime 4
Cyberpunk 2077
Days Gone
If I'm allowed to include more than five:
Pikmin 4 (simply because we haven't seen anything yet)
Death Stranding
Spider-Man
I'll leave out the Shadow of the Colossus remake that I expect on my doormat any day now! But Ueda is working on a new game, and he has teased a couple of images already. I'm looking forward to it!
1. Ni No Kuni 2 (King‘s Edition) (PS4) - March 23
2. Bayonetta 1+2 (NSW) - Feb 16
3. Kirby Star Allies (NSW) - March 16
4. Mario Tennis Aces (NSW) - Spring
5. Sea of Thieves (XOne) - March 20
I have a hard time getting excited for things that are too far off from their release, that‘s why there‘s a lack of PS4.

There are a lot of games I'm excited for but with my already huge backlog I'm quite patient in waiting for them.
In no particular order..
1/ Dragon Quest XI Echoes Of An Elusive Age
2/God Of War
3/Valkyria Chronicles 4
4/Spiderman
5/Detroit:Become Human
I had to think about this because honestly I could do a top ten..or twenty!
1) God of War
2) Dragon Quest XI
3) Bayonetta 2 (never played it)
4) Yakuza 6
5) Spider-Man
Lives, Lived, Will Live.
Dies, Died, Will Die.

Spellbound: Stardew meets Hogwarts...sounds good to me!
Red Dead Redemption 2: The sequel (/prequel) to one of my favourite games...it's fair to say that the initial trailer left me feeling decidedly underwhelmed, but if it's even half as good as the original it'll be a great game!
Death Stranding: The mind-bending teasers have me well and truly tantalised!
Pokémon Switch: I've been hyped for a home console Pokémon game since the late 90's! [insert 'it's happening!!!' gif here]
Metroid Prime 4: I'm actually jealous that my future-self is most likely playing this game right now!
Cyberpunk 2077: CD Projekt Red are my kind of devs...can't wait to see more of it!
...of course, it remains to be seen whether any of those games will actually turn out to be any good - but they're the ones that have done the best job of tickling my hype glands up to now!
My Top 9 Favorite Games of All time.
1. Judgement
2. Baldur's Gate 3
3. Bully (Rockstar)
4. Person 4 / Golden
5. Sonic Adventure 2
6. Xenoblade X
7. Ape Escape 2
8. Animal Crossing: New Leaf
9. James Bond 007 Nightfire
1) Ace Combat 7 - The series that got me back into gaming and will make me buy a PS4.
2) Metroid Prime 4 - The original game in the series remains my All Time Favourite Game; can’t wait to see what a return to the series will bring.
3) Freedom Planet 2 - The original was an amazing retro themed joy with a killer soundtrack. Can’t wait for more.
4) Valkyria Chronicles 4 - After the disappointment of 2, can’t wait for a return to the traditional gameplay. However the fact 3 never made it Westwards means I’ll feel like I’m missing something.
@Octane Haha! Yeah, GTAV gave me a serious bout of 'Game as a Service fatigue' - so I'm only really considering Red Dead 2 as a single-player game...
I think that, on balance, I'd have been quite happy to buy GTAV for its campaign alone - and I'd rate the solo adventure in the original Red Dead Redemption as one of my favourite gaming experiences of all time! I'm not much of a completionist gamer in general, but I became so engrossed in RDR's world that I played it right through to 100% completion (plus post-endgame achievements) without it ever feeling anything like a chore - I just loved every bit of it! ..if RDR2's offline mode is anything like as good, I'm all in!
I'm done with 'GTA:Online' style online modes though - and the RDR2 trailer made me feel as though the sequel/prequel is may be lacking some of the magic of the original - so I, too, shall be reserving judgement (..still got a healthy amount of hype for it though!)
