For me Loaded on the PS and Saturn would have to be on that list, by level 3 I found it extremely boring no variation at all.

When I think of repetitive, I think of Gyrostarr. >.>

Laser Blast. Boring, stupidly easy, and repetitive to a fault. Yeah, there were worse games but being from Activision made it a total letdown.

FFVII: Crisis Core. It's a great movie, but who's idea was it to put "gameplay" in it?

The GBA Kingdom Hearts:Chains of Memories, I still can remember my manthra: "Go on, one more room, do it for the story", it was as so boring, room after room of doing the same, it has a great story thou and the cut scenes are so emotional, it's story is very necessary if you want to understand KH2, but the gameplay is repetitive as hell.

Most games are so repetitive, it's jump, jump, jump or shoot, shoot, shoot, or slash, slash, slash. The import thing is if the repetition is fun or not. Some of my favourite games are incredibly repetitive. Whereas sometimes I hate variety if it means annoying minigames or somesuch that takes me away from repeating FUN.

Good point, Clint. I've definitely been turned off by overwhelming, incongruous variety at least as much as boring repetition in some games.

Come on, friends,

I can definitely say that The Tick for the SNES is the most repetitive game I've played by far. You walk onto the screen, 50 million guys come at you who all look and fight the same, you punch them all out, move to the next screen, the same 50 million guys come at you, you punch them out, etc...

Worst rental I ever picked. I played it for the whole weekend because I refused to believe that the whole game could be like that. It never ended. To this day I would love to punch the game designers in the face.

Repetitive but fun, Tetris comes to mind, repetitive and bad anyone played Soul Fighter on DC, that game was terrible, I still remember being amazed at some of its cut scenes, amazed at how bad they where there was one where the characters jumped over a fence, but the animation was so poor it looked like they simply floated over it.

After playing it, I want to say Bit.Trip Beat, just because the levels carry on for soooooooo long, but I like it, so I don't want to show it in a bad way.
