I finally gave in and bought a PS2, almost entirely because of the Final Fantasy series, namely FFVII.
I'll try and make this as broad as possible, so this thread isn't just all about me. (Even though it pretty much is. MUAHAHAHA) What are some great titles for PS/PS2 that you think everyone "must buy" starting a collection? I'm not very learned compared to some, in the lore of Sony, but here are my choices:
FFVII-XII (excluding FFXI)
Dirge of Cerberus
Chrono Cross
Metal Gear Solid series
