Who knows? Maybe we'll see an FPS crossover with Call of Duty and Half Life
Call of Duty players would have no idea what Half Life is, and Half Life players would hate Valve for the rest of their lives... I can't believe I just saw that. I need to wash my eyes! Unclean! Unclean!
A good idea on paper anyways.
I think Valve is way over-rated...they don't exactly release games when the promise to and the engine is the same one they used for years...but then again, look at Call of Duty...
A good idea on paper? You're taking an arcadey multiplayer game and shoving it into a single player game with a completely different universe. It's akin to setting Mass Effect 3 in New Austin and Mexico; horses and all.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
I'll probably just stay out of this, only Western games I've played as far as I know is Retro's 4 games, Mass Effect, Valve's OB...enjoyed them all. (mainly Portal and the HL, don't care for TF2...>_>) As for the Mario talking...I just want a Mario Bros...CREATOR! You know, create your own full classic SMB game...just think how awesome that would be. And for an offtopic-ish question, since you were also talking about the MM stuff...you think we'll ever get the MegaMan X games? Mainly the first 3, those were the ones I grew up with.

It's like Yakuza being in a Zombie setting or House of the Dead being an educational typing game...stranger things have happened my friend, the examples I have given being two of them.
Uh, the quotes seem to be messing up. I'm pretty sure I didn't say "I think Valve is way over-rated...they don't exactly release games when the promise to and the engine is the same one they used for years...but then again, look at Call of Duty...:

That is strange, I noticed something messed up in my post as well and the post I quoted... lol there was one quote tag laying about in one post and screwed up everyone following

The key is to make many game genres. I love me the JRPG, Fighting, Platforming, Racing, Mystery, Puzzle, J-Pop Music, RTS, and so on (Not FPS's)
