Just out of curiosity what was the brightness setting on the 3DS and vita when that picture was taken? because if the 3DS was at max that Vita looks beautiful by comparison! Once the first price drop comes around i'm getting one.

Granted I can see the Jaggies in that shot. all reports seem to say ridge racer doesn't look that good and has framerate worst than the 3DS game.
I haven't played the 3DS game yet. I thought the PSP remakes were quite fantastic though.
I read that the Vita title contains 3 tracks and 5 cars? Hmmmm...
That was the main complaint on the 8-4 podcast. They talked about how good the PSP gsame how rushed and half ***** the Vita game was. But it has online play and still should be a decent racer.

Have you experienced any problems with the Vita? Since a large number of people are complaining because of the touch screen not working properly, and because the system shuts down spontaneously.

Seriously though, it does look nice. Of course for me, it's all about the games (and how they play). If there's eventually some Vita-exclusive games i'm interested in then i would consider picking it up down the road.

You can't really compare the Vita problems with the problems that the 3DS had. Seriously, it has a lot of problems: The power cuts out Freezing in mid-operation Cannot connect data service Cannot register a PSN account at the initialization screen
