Wasn't sure where else to put this. Thought this was cool though.
I've always said that gaming will become so much more mainstream in the future as the older generation dies out and is replaced by people who grew up with games, whereby it will lose the stigma of being "childish".
This was a great example of that. One of the most influential people in the world today just casually talking about playing Deus Ex and Overwatch
(the other guy he's with is the president of Y Combinator, so also quite influential)
Try and imagine Bill Gates and Warren Buffet discussing such things during a professional interview. It wouldn't happen.
The fact that of all possible games, he manages to fit Deus Ex into his schedule, is pretty impressive. I can't even find time to play that and I've put precisely zero things into orbit.
One of my favorite things ever is the fact that PETER JACKSON played Beyond Good and Evil. The creator of one of the most beloved movie adaptations of all time, played an underselling Zelda-like game from 2003. That rules.
@Dezzy Yep,i'd forgotten about that.He actually mentioned it in that Macca interview.I remember he tweeted about either the Switch or BOTW a while back too.I had a look there but i can't find it,I did come across a couple of other Nintendo related tweets from him though..Also found some even more interesting facts about him.He was hired by Microsoft Studios in 2013 as an executive producer,to help various Xbox studios change their thinking. And "he was the voice of "Unnamed Marine" in Xbox 360 exclusive Halo 3."
