Obviously they know that they can't compete with nintendo, as they only mentioned the 360 and ps3. That's definitely it. They will never hold a candle to Ninty.

Very interesting. If you really stop and think about it, Nintendo and Valve are trying to achieve the same Goal just from different resources. On one hand you have Nintendo integrating their latest Console(Wii U) with the Living room by making it much more accessible with the touch screen features, top of the line PC like hardware, and social media features.
On the other hand you have Valve integrating their source engine technology into a PC that is more user friendly like a Console. Both are fantastic companies and I have always enjoyed Valve games for the most part. I think Valve would do a great job competing however I still feel there would be so much for these two companies to gain by working together rather than against.
It's as if Nintendo is taking their console style ways into a PC world and Valve taking their PC style ways into a Console world. Very Yin & Yang.
