I finished the Pacifist route last night and wow. I already loved this game after my first playthrough (Accidentally killed the first boss, and wow I felt guilty.) I really can't choose what I love most about Undertale. The music is excellent, the story is well done, the weiting is brilliant (I can't remember the last time a game made me laugh out loud) and the gameplay ties in to the story too, with the battle system interface used well in the later parts of the game. It's clear that a lot of love has been poured into this game.
Ok so I don't know which ending I got as all that happened was that I beated the boss and left the underground I guess.
So how many endings are there in this game anyway?
I want to point out that this game is amazing in nearly everything with the only issue I have is its length. Granted, the replay value the game has makes the short length forgiving but I can't help but feel that I'm not getting much out of it. Another minor issue is how I easily beated the game with little to no level of losing a lot except for the final boss.
I'm impressed that Game Maker Studio is able to do all sorts of things that makes Undertale amazing! Hopefully, Nintendo will consider Game Maket Studio and we end up getting Undertale for the NX.
As you said, the short length is there to encourage replaying the game, and a large part of this game is about replaying it. The choices you make don't simply affect the ending, they also effect the way the game plays out, the bosses you fight and how characters interact with you. And if you found the game easy, do a genocide run now. It's definitely a lot more difficult.
Ok so Toby Fox the guy behind Undertale really wants to port the game to other platforms but can't do it on Nintendo because Gamemaker isn't supported and so he would have to do it on a new engine which is understandable.
Ok so what do you guys think about the game's visuals? I think the visuals are colorful and considering that it's made with the mindset of Earthbound, I think it fits well. But there are some nitpicks as one shoe of the main player is thinner than the other but I guess that was intentional.

I hope he eventually gets a way to put up the game through a Nintendo- console; I essentially gave up on playing the game now due to just about everywhere spoiling just about everything in the game. I would wait until the hype dies down and I forget just about everything.
I keep getting that comedian text during my genocide run. I'm currently at snowdin and at this rate, I haven't cleared the area but I end up getting that same text instead of the countdown.
So I'm being paranoid but I'm doing the pacifist run now, killed Undyne by accident, restarted immediately without saving, and did the fight the proper way. I'm fine right?
Well I beat it. Neutral ending, that was intense at the end.
Yeah this is one of those games everyone should play. Arguably this is even a better sequel to Earthbound than Mother 3 was. If not in terms of quality than certainly in terms of how it plays out from beginning to end.
I think the most impressive thing about the game is that not only is it genuinely innovative, but it then INNOVATES ITS OWN INNOVATION in terms of gameplay. I don't want to give away how for people who haven't played it, but it is a treat.
