So it looks like Platinum has struck err gold once again.

Any fan of Transformers knows that the games can be hit and miss and we have yet to get a proper gen 1 game that is until now.Maybe by the the same company that did Bayonetta this is the Transformers game us 80 kids have been waiting for.

I figure there are alot of Transformers fans here and was kind surprised that a thread hasn't been created for this yet. It is available for most systems (360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and PC) sadly though no Wii U which is surprising given how well Bayonetta 2 sold.

Anyway if anyone is interested Pushsquare did a review for the PS4 version and it got 8/10.

If you are a Transformers fan especially gen 1 and have one of those systems then you might want to pick it up.

Anyone other then me have this game and if so what do you think?

The no Wii U version is down to publisher rather than the developer.

I enjoyed War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron and I expect to enjoy this. Sadly because it isn't coming to Wii U, I am waiting to purchase it on sale on Steam. I never buy Steam games at full price, (Tales of Zestiria is the only exception so far) I am still waiting for Rise of the Dark Spark to be cheap enough. I look forward to play Devastation in a few years, once it is cheap enough.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but given that there has been no sales related 'landmark' news or report to emerge from either Nintendo or Platinum regarding Bayonetta 2, and the fact that you can still buy the so-called limited edition double pack to this very day, I find it hard to believe the game did 'well'.

Back onto the topic in question, I may buy this when it eventually reaches £20, which will be sometime in late November or early December by my estimation. It looks like a lot of fun however, the replay value seems to be on the low side going by a couple of reviews that I read in the past day or so.

I'm just pleased that we have got a new (and pretty decent) Transformers game to play!

I'll probably get this on PS4 one day. The PC version isn't physical, the Wii U version doesn't exist and the PS3 version probably isn't worth it.

It's a good little game which respects the source material and the Bayonetta style gameplay. I've been a little bit underwhelmed by the PS4 lineup so far, but this really gives me something to master in gameplay more than the usual exploring of sandboxes.

The only issue I have with it (not really for the game itself) is the PS4 controller isn't ideal for action games as it has a lot of edges that dig into your hands. The Wii U pro controller was perfect for Bayonetta.

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

@Pahvi: Haven't played it. I also haven't played Transformers Prime.

The kid in me wants to buy this right now. The adult in me wants to wait for when this goes on sale whihc probably isn't to much of a wait. Glad it has reviewed well.
