I should play a Katamari game...since I hear it from a certain member I know in how he talks. (they mentioned it when I questioned how they kept saying "we" instead of "I".)

No Chaos Leigon makes me sad...
Anyone tried Yakuza?
I still need to try those games. Chaos Legion gets a lot of flak, iirc, but Yakuza looks like a game I could get into. They made it look too much like GTA in the trailers, so I avoided it, but after seeing some reviews, it looks like its waaaay more than that.
The Ratchet and Clank games were always pretty special. I'm disappointed by the lack of TimeSplitters in this thread, considering the fact that it's one of the best things ever
I would've if I hadn't played them on the Xbox.
Touche, good sir! I was heartbroken when Free Radical went under, I'd love it if TS4 saw the light of day again

Chaos Leigon has a few bad points yeah but the concept of the game is great.
Yakuza is like Streets of Rage and Shenmue blended together...only played 3 abit but the backstory made me bored to not play it until I am "in the mood".
Oh, and I just thought of another game that I think the OP would enjoy: Drakengard! It's creepy and a bit off the wall at times, and its got some unique bits here and there. Loved it. Drakengard 2 gets some flak, though, and it's much more expensive.

Good to know, as I enjoyed both SoR and Shenmue. And again, the concept of Chaos Legion sounds pretty good.

As would I, as would I...I even put it down on my Christmas list one year.

@Mickey... I don't game on my PC at all (well I might now since I just got a new Sony Vaio) but Serious Sam, the first one that came out on PS2/XBOX is so much fun, if you like old school FPS games where tons of enemies chase you around large places and your constantly strafing with massive guns blazing constantly
Freedom Fighters
I'm willing to bet most here have never heard of it. It came out on PS2, PC, XBOX and Gamecube and if you ever see a copy of it snatch it up, its Fantastic.

The new ones are on XBLA and I thought PSN, are they not? Anywho...I like old-school shooters, but the new Serious Sams are just boring. I'm just hoping the old ones weren't as boring.
@Mickey... I had a blast with it, granted that was years ago and I literally bought 2-3 new games a week and blazed through them Lol. So how it plays today I have no idea.
I edited my post above and I really think you would like the game I posted the video of Mickey.

^Good to see a vote for Tekken Tag Tourney up there. Oh, and just out of curiousity, why did you rate Jak 2 so highly?
TTT was my first PS2 game ever, and I still have a working launch day model. Jak 2 so highly? I loved the first and felt the second was such an improvement, it was like GTA but in this awesome world. Jak 3 was good, but I still feel the 2nd was the best. So fun.

TTT definitely holds up after all this time. I actually felt very differently about Jak 2. It was a completely different game from Jak & D, which I loved, but I didn't think of it as an improvement. It felt more like a GTA clone that kinda missed the point, and I just didn't enjoy it very much. Jak 3 and Frontier felt like major refinements that fullfilled the Jak 2's potential, and I enjoyed them a lot more.
But different peope, different views. That's what makes life so interesting. I never actually played Jak 2 much, since I kept getting lost and couldn't make much progress. Maybe if I had finished it, I might think differently of it?

I thought Jak and Daxter felt too much like Crash Bandicoot reskinned. I like the slightly darker and more adult tone that Jak 2 took. You got lost a lot? I don't think I ever got lost, though the city was huge the hover cars and such were awesome.

J&D a reskin? Hell no. The way the world and levels are set up put it in a different class entirely. I like Crash, but IMO, not really comparable to J&D outside of some aesthetic similarities. Sly Cooper is waaay closer to Bandicoot, but I didn't see anyone complain.
The city is very confusingly laid out. At least at the beginning. I found it much easier to navigate in the rest of the games. I couldn't even find my way to the first mission, I was that lost in Jak 2. Luckily it was just a rental, but I'm still itching to get it back and try it again.

Those are all very good games, actually, I enjoyed everyone of those that I played (missing Rayman 3 and Destroy All Humans 2, but judging from the opinion of my associates and the previous entries in the series, I'd trust that those two are also good games).
