Topic: Top-10 games you played in '17 (any year-any syst)

It's about time we make the mandatory end of the year list featuring the videogames you played in 2017. Doesn't matter the system / doesn't matter the year they were released as long as you played them this year.

01. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - a wonderful game that kills two birds with one stone: it brings the action back into the franchise and pi$$es off the Zelda nerds.

02. Rogue Legacy (PS3) - a clever metroidvania that is as good as the best Metroid and the best Castlevania.

03. Fallout 3 (PS3) - a first person shooter that doesn't try to be more than it actually is. I also played the sequel (New Vegas) this year but was disappointed by the unnecessary emphasis on the really mediocre plot.

04. Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - a spectacular open world with obsessive attention to detail, undermined only by the lack of variety in the main missions (I'm pretty sure there was more to do in the old west than ducking behind rocks and shoot bandits).

05. Guns of Boom (Android) - a multiplayer FPS; it takes less than 13 seconds from the moment you launch the app to the moment the battle starts, which makes it automatically better than most FPSs I've played this decade. And it's completely free.

06. Sky Force Reloaded (Android) - an extremely well made european shump that you can play and complete, for free.

07. Time Locker (Android) - genius arcade application of the "time stops when you stop" concept - free.

08. Alien vs. Pinball (Android) - probably the best 3 tables Zen Studios have come up with in a while - again, free with ads.

09. Reigns (Android) - brilliant game of choices based on cards, with a medieval theme.

10. Out There: Omega Edition (Android) - a roguelike set in space with great sci-fi writing. Kudos to the studio for keeping it simple with strong imagery rather than trying to make a pocket version of an Orson Wells movie.
