No. I hate FPS, but this is not battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 had literally game-breaking glitches including rubberbanding, while Titanfall, while flawed, is not as bad.

I really like titanfall i've not encountered most of the issues you've had under LAG the, parkour is fine i can get around most maps without touching the floor, i have had it crash a few times just booting me back to the dashboard and i agree there's too many FPS however i highly recommend PvZ:Garden warfare its damn good fun.

I have played the games. You just can't accept my opinion, that they are all similar, more than they are different. I'm not the one being ignorant.

You think there's a substantial difference between each game, then good for you. No argument here.

Yes, there is. You can't accept the fact that each Call of Duty entry has its own identity.

Every entry features new guns, new maps, new or expanded game modes filled with new content, new features, and new offline campaigns.

Saying 85% of World at War is similar to Call of Duty 4 is completely ignorant. Honestly, I never knew soldiers in World War II used the same guns, used the same war tactics, and fought on the same battlefield as our modern day soldiers. Not to mention that the Zombies game mode only makes up 15% of the game even if it's a third of the game's offerings and continuously receives praise for its unprecedented gameplay.

Or we could compare Black Ops to Modern Warfare 3. Either way, you're still wrong.

I have a different idea in mind of what I consider different. You're bringing up maps, guns, modes, etc. That's fine, but I'd rather see CoD progress along the lines of what Destiny, TitanFall, and possibly even Killzone are doing.

For example, Ghosts and Black Ops II have different concepts, but they should have had intertwined concepts. You can slide in Ghosts, but you dive in Black Ops II. There should have been an option to do both in Ghosts. So ya, they are partially different, but the most current game has failed to carry core aspects from the past one. Honestly, leaning around corners with your gun(in Ghosts), should have been done freaking ages ago. Even Medal of Honor(2007) on Wii had signs of better game mechanics than CoD has had in 2013.

So ya, they're different, but having different identities from game to game has its shortcomings, as well as it's advantages, but it should have only been advantageous.

So, what you're saying is, is that due to the fact Call of Duty doesn't drastically break from its fundamental gameplay, each and every installment is the same? This can be applied to a lot of games. Including Nintendo's.

But that's not how it works. Content makes up video games and Call of Duty (year after year), provides new content. Whether or not you're a fan, this is a fact and, as for your bush beating, your opinion is not only false but it's unproductive.

I completely agree that every CoD game is different, but it's not different enough to matter to me, as an individual. They added new mechanics, but got rid of some as well. This is a problem they are having from entry to entry, and it effects the series overall.

I'm glad you see it my way.

The reason you will never see dolphin diving in an Infinity Ward title is due to the fact that Treyarch also works on the games. IW and Treyarch do not intentionally steal creative ideas from another (unless it's a neutral feature such as a theatre lobby). When Treyarch's game releases next year, you won't see sliding and whatever Sledgehammer's new mechanic(s) is in its game.

Ya, so I probably won't buy it on Wii U(under the impression it actually gets it) or Xbox One; kind of like Ground Zeroes. I'll buy that when it's $10-15.

That's what I thought, but whatever. Let's bandwagon more on how COD sucks and FPSes are lame while we're still at it.

For such a hyped up game... you'd think it wouldn't fade into obscurity as fast as it did. I got nothing against Titanfall, by the way.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

Has it, game seems to have a decent sized player base and was number one last month. It has no Real single player and will live based on multiplayer numbers.

We typically frown upon bashing companies or other websites for the purpose of starting some riot here. This thread is an opinionated one about a game.

However, I will stomp my foot down on all the flaming. It needs to stop guys.

To me, while Titanfall is not the WORST GAME EVER...it does represent everything that is wrong with video game culture in 2014:

1) It's available for the overpriced, anti-consumer XboxOne(and PC) and steeped in petty exclusivity disputes. The developer is already trash talking the console and expecting a multiplatform release for the sequel...Typical entitled big name developer.

2) Speaking of sequels: This game is barely out on the market and we're talking about sequels and franchising already.

3) So....much....hype...

4) It's another formula multi-player FPS. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing inherently wrong with FPS games, but the industry is just bloated with them and they all look and feel so much alike. At least Titanfall tried to add Mechs, but even that was appluaded as some great innovation when it's been done before in games like Armored Core, Front Mission, MechWarrior, and Hawken. There is nothing wrong with adding mechs, but don't try to pretend it's revolutionary.

5) Soon we'll be bombarded with the DLC. So many complain about the lack of content in games, and then willingly fork over more and more money for DLC and "season passes".

Well, there you have it.
