I think the possibly bad thing is that Microsoft has put everything into Natal. Sonys Move is a side project that has no intention of taking over the core concept of the console. Microsoft thinks this is the future of gaming, and is going to change everything. Guess Ill be stuck playing PS3, Wii, and earlier systems if it does, cause Im not jumping up and down like that! Heck I dont even care to swing around a WiiMote much.

@slapshot82 I kinda get that feeling too, but I hope that's not the case. In an interview with Peter Molyneux (I never know how to spell his name) he said that Fable III will have Natal support but it's completely optional. If games get released with both Natal and normal controls options and we get the choice as to which to use, it won't be so bad. oh well, only E3 will tell...

Man. If people think a remote is weird, wait till they see this. I don`t think the hardcore pizza-eating and coke-drinking fanboys will care for this.

Awesome, I was waiting for somebody to post this video on Nintendo Life. I saw this the other day and it was absolutely hilarious. Seeing that woman move is comedy gold.

I actually do like motion controls when they are done right, but I think it's helpful to have a controller so you know exactly what to move. Something like Natal would work better if we ever get to the point of having fully-immersive holograms.

My problem with Move is this!

Its been said so many times now and I do not agree. I, like pretty much everyone that plays games and are in there twenties to thirties work for a living. Some may not have very physical jobs, but I do. Big time. I walk no less than 5 miles a day, in the weather (110+ degrees today) and up and down prob no less than 500 steps. When I get home, there is no way in heck Im standing up and doing all that to enjoy a game. I think all the Gears/Halo/Fable/Modern Warfare fans (majority of 360 owners) are right there with me.

Banking your whole system on it....... maybe not such a great idea!

And they complained about the Wii. Man...

I had a snarky comment about how it isn't any stupider than someone playing Wii Sports Boxing, but I've changed my mind. But instead I'll just go about what I saw, because mostly, yes, it was stupider than Wii Boxing:

1) Crazy dancing around: yeah, you don't actually play games like that, but it is there to show that the game can respond to any motion of your body, so it's way more flexible than Wii or Move would be. Not a fan of the presentation, but I see where you're going. GOOD

2) Haha, it looks like you're raping your friend. Good luck trying to find anything else remotely entertaining from a shadow puppet game. MEH

3) You can play fighting games with your crotch. I guess there will be some M rated games on Natal, you know, on the off chance something like that could even get past the ESRB. Sucks if you're a girl too. FAIL

4) How DO you brake on a Natal racing game? Plus, your friends running into you would totally screw you up. At least when you're holding something like the Wii Wheel you have some hope of maintaining control in such a situation. MULTIPLE FAIL

5) It will screw up your makeout sessions. It has the functionality and convenienceof a cell phone. Just be careful what you say in conversations, or you could cut your game in the middle of a session or something. GOOD TURNED INTO FAIL

6) You can watch movies on it, and you don't need to dig under your couch for a remote or controller. GOOD.

So yeah, I don't understand why they showed all the good things about it in the midst of some pretty heavy potential fails. Yeah, it's funny that she doesn't know how to brake, but it doesn't really fit the "controlling without controls is so intuitive" idea they were going for. That's the sort of thing that makes me say, I'll just keep my wiimote, thanks anyways. Same with voice recognition, do you have to be careful with whatever you say now? It would suck to say your friend's name when playing together and have the Xbox drop everything and call them or something.

As for the first video, the snarky comment basically applies. They're obviously hamming it up for the little kids, and it seems really fun for them.

you do know that the vid I posted is an exaggeration of Natals capabilities, right? I'm sure there are fail-safes for the voice recognition, etc... But playing any fighting game with my crotch is genius!!!
I support MS and their contribution to gaming, but Natal is totally a "need to see it to believe it" scenario.
