I always thought Atari was the first to do the internet thing, but it seems I was wrong. I swear there was an old console like that with some add-on for the internet that failed (like so many of Atari`s add-ons). It actually took quite a while for that kind of multiplayer took off.

The cartridge/CD argument holds up today...but cartridges are replaced by flash/storage cards and can hold up to 32GBs of data! A DVD9 can only hold 4.7GB and a Blu-Ray can hold 25GBs...
I would like another publisher to step in and utilise the format for large games with the tiny media...even if they focus on the handheld market, it'd be interesting to see where this goes.
@PostAboveMe: Do you mean those e-documents used to play text adventure games?
I remember my friend had one and I tried it over at his house one day after school and compared to the Gameboy that thing was huge. It was so uncomfortable me since I had small hands that I think I could only play it for about 10 mins or so before it got really uncomfortable.

I heard that the Sega Saturn has 3 processes instead of 1 like the Playstation.

Not exactly true. One of the processors is for the sound...if that was the case the Mega Drive and SNES has two processors as they have dedicated Sound Chips.
You can launch nuclear warheads with a PS2 or something.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
If you turn the Gamecube upside down, there are 2 ports that I assume are for wired internet connection, but I've never seen a Gamecube game that uses that, so oh well.
Some copies of Mario Kart: Double Dash came with an online play disk. 1080 Avalanche also used LAN to hook systems together to have 4+ multi-player action.

No mention of Phantasy Star Online? That was the sole reason for many GC players to have a wired connection.
The Lynx II was smaller... just. Both versions had a neat function where you could switch the controls over to the opposite side, if you preferred to play left-handed. I really liked the Lynx, but there were very few good games for it.
The original Master System had an expansion port which was never used. I knew this, as I often pondered what it was for, but I thought I'd put it out there for everyone else to mull over.

O.o sence when has the gamecube had better graphics than the ps2.....
The Gamecube was the more powerful system, when looking at the specs. But the PS2 had far better third party support and the developers had more time to learn the hardware and make better use of it, which is why PS2 games ended up looking better. The PS3 has pretty much had the same problem against the 360, it's technically the more powerful system.. but very few games show that.

This man speaks the truth. You're like knowledgeable and stuff...!
And that is why no one used batteries and got the battery pack for it. The reason for this was the back-lit display. This made it pretty much superior to even the Gameboy Advance until the SP came out. Although there were not many games for it.
