And what exactly is unique about New Super Mario Bros? I make like them, but I wouldn't call them "unique"
I'd like to point out as many others have that NSMB does get milking complaints (me included) despite the fact that there have been 3 titles over 6 years.
They're not unique, but they add more to the table then a new Angry Birds title.
Like......what exactly?
Each title with NSMB has added at least one element. Also, they don't completely oversaturate you with a load of repetitive titles every few months.
DS: Started it. 2D reboot gets credits.
Wii: Heavier emphasis on multiplayer, crappy motion controls, super guide, new power-ups, return of Yoshi, card power-ups
3DS: Least addition to the series yet. Heavier emphasis on coin-collecting, DLC packs (boo to those prices), again more power-ups, and 3DS abilities like SpotPass.

^if the rage from the ambassador games are any indication, people still hate free stuff, heck some people didn't t get pokedex 3D or photo dojo when they were free
