Finally got around to Limbo, and I gotta say I wish I had listened to everyone and downloaded it sooner. Awesome game.
LIMBO is quite possibly the best puzzle platformer I have ever played (360 exclusive ). Short but sooooo sweet. Plus the Avatar Awards are icing on the cake.

It looks kind of like Braid, which makes me want it a lot. Braid was a great game. Also, rented Alan Wake, so far, I feel like it really is worth a buy. It is an excellent game, especially if you like Stephen King.

Yeas, Z0MB1ES and Breath of Death VII are great indie games. I usually avoid Indie games, but I got those two via a recommendation from a friend and they were more than worth the 2 bucks I spent.

Limbo plays more like Heart of Darkness to me.
It's a good thing but...something creeps me out from the demo....
Main Final Fantasy & Quest/Shinobi Team fan...but I do like many SEGA games and a few Nintendo games.
I can be cute if I want to be, but I choose not to...as it's not my style.

Miner Dig Deep is another great indie game. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't played it yet.

Yay for me! I just joined the "1550 club" for Fallout 3. It's the first game in which I've completed ALL of the achievements. It never once felt like a chore. This game is phenomenal. I think I've logged about 200 hours total and I still haven't done everything.
Bring on New Vegas!

Heart of Darkness needs to be re-released as a XBLA/PSN title.
Forgotten gem that deserves to shine (the story is pretty weird though and the protagonist may get on your nerves).

GameStop.com had a two pack of Mirrors Edge and Fracture, so I ordered it. Are the games good? I heard Mirrors Edge was okay, and Fracture decent.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

New Vegas has to be my most anticipated title this fall. I was a little worried when I heard it wasn't going to be handled by the same team, but it really looks like it has come together. The realism mode (or whatever it's called) sounds like it might be gimmicky, though.
@RWPMirrors Edge is a love it or hate it deal. I wasn't a fan,but I'm in the minority. Fracture is solid, but generic (outside of the terrain altering effects).
@Relevant LattyI remember that one. It deserved a better reception than it originally got.

Has anyone here played Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light? I downloaded the demo this past Wednesday and was totally blown away! This game is fantastic! I didn't even think that I was going to like it but I was really impressed. Lara Croft, Limbo and Monday Night Combat are my favorite games out of this year's Summer of Arcade.
758. Posted: Sun 22nd Aug 2010 04:53 BST
I think they should have extended the Summer of Arcade to include Scott Pilgrim.

I traded in my 360 today and picked up a Slim. Awesome console revision. Damn near silent, WiFi removes another wire cluttering my set-up, everything loads much faster ... sweet.
@WolfRamHartIs the Lara game really as co-op focused as all the previews have made it out to be?
@RandomWiiDon't know about Fracture, but Mirror's Edge is, like The Miz, AWESOME. With a capital "AWESOME". =)
She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong. Also, Lindsey Stirling. Because violin awesomeness.

@the shpydar: They put a lot of emphasis on the co-op feature but to be honest I haven't tried it out yet. As of right now there is only local co-op since the online co-op wasn't ready for the launch of the game. I'm waiting for the update so I can try it out but as far a the single player experience goes it is very robust. I've put in a few good hours into the game but I still have not completed it yet. There is also a lot of treasures and upgrades to collect so it will definitely keep you busy for quite some time. From the reviews that I've read the single player campaign is about 6 hours in length. Also, the game itself is a whopping 2 GB in size! That is pretty darn huge for an XBLA game.
