Also, beat Deus Ex: Human Revolution today. It was fan-freaking-tastic. Yes.

So, the Steam Trading feature is out of Beta and is fully functional. Spiral Knights and Portal 2 are now eligible for the trade-items-for-games system. Looks like it's time to play some more Spiral Knights and see if I can get any unfortunate souls to trade in-game items for actual games. >=)

EDIT: I have a gift version of Portal! Who wants it for another game/some TF2 items?

Civilizations V is on sale for like $12.50. I did hear there were a lot of problems with it, but it may be worth it at that price.

When it comes to trading, I usually go for weapons that I would find useful (whether it be for combat or crafting), not by its true value. Just send me a trade request sometime and I'll trade the items you're looking for for some of yours.

So, I just played the Hard Reset demo today and WOW does it make me want the full game! Even though the story can be summed up as "Blah-blah blah blah blah-blah-blah!", the demo showed me some really good atmosphere, mostly because of how pretty the engine is and how non-existent the loading times are. Also, the action is solid and chaotic. However, I'm waiting for a sale on this one, as I've heard some things about how the game becomes repetitive and doesn't do anything "Wow!"-worthy after the first few hours.

@Xkhaoz If you're going with that computer, you're going to want to upgrade the graphics card. From what I've read and seen, the GeForce GT 520 is rapidly becoming a low-end card that will probably not last for a full year. Other than that, the computer looks pretty solid.

EDIT: As for my argument on why the GeForce GT 520 is becoming low-end, the card can't run The Witcher 2 very well, even on low settings.

@V8_Ninja Yeah, I'm planning on getting it as it looks easily up-gradable. It should do me good until I have the funds for better parts.

The reason they put a 520 in it is most likely because they put a real cheap power supply. So you will, in all likelihood, have to upgrade that along with the the GPU. I wouldn't recommend anything below the 550Ti for gaming.

The only thing I changed was a Blu-ray drive instead of dvd, and why wouldn't I take the free offers of Dungeon Siege, Just Cause 2, and Darksiders? So, it would come to $690, not bad considering the specs and free games, mouse, and keyboard. Now I just need to get that much.

Red Orchestra 2 has been pretty awesome so far. Much more refined than the first. Not to mention that it is actually possible to see your enemy at a reasonable distance.

I'm still going to wait a while before I buy RO2 since I've just decided the parts to my new computer. Can't wait to get them and play my Steam catalogue games with high graphics settings.
