@Ravage, no time today to download and try a demo before the time runs out :/
Also, 4GB RAM?? Nice. I only have 2GB RAM. No wonder it runs on your laptop with RAM like that, seeing as how old the game is.

I decided I'm not that interested, anyway, having read about it in detail.
Besides, if I want to sneak around mugging people in an open world I have Morrowind, and if I want to sneak around killing people I have Hitman 2.

A good sale day today.
Notice that both Day of Defeat and Day of Defeat: Source are at 75% reduced for today only.
Is it best to get DoD: Source?

It is best to ckeck the forums to see how much of a community is left in DoD Source. I see the Prototype is $15, just bought it for Xbox for that about 4 hours ago :D

Guys, can I ask for some help.

I keep trying to download TF2, but I keep on getting the message that the servers are full, but I was able to download my Jolly Rover update without any hiccups.

Just try again later. It happens sometimes.

That's nothin.

Steam isn't accepting my credit card again, even though there's absolutely nothing wrong on my end, so I have to wait till my girlfriend gets home so she can gift it to me.

Ridiculous. This has happened several times and they always have a stupid excuse. It's like, deep down, they really don't want my money.

Well, DoD: Source is a little too processor hungry for my humble laptop, and DoD's forums are full of topics about crashes, hacks and other problems. So, I wont be getting either :)

Great price for HL2, if you don't already have it.

Final day of sales tomorrow!

Damn it, my processor isn't powerful enough for Half-Life 2. Nevermind, I bought Max & The Magic Marker Instead.

It runs on the lowest graphical settings and 800x600 on my laptop, but does crash occasionally when closing it down.
Worth getting at the price, and saving for when you inevitably upgrade your setup.
Or, like me, wait until HL2: Episode 3 comes out, which at this rate is sure to be a few years down the line when I've certainly got a newer laptop. Get all the HL2 then in one go :)

Thankfully I can play it on a PC with a better processor when I have the chance, too.

Re: Puzzle Kingdoms. Even though the PC version isn't rated on Metacritic, the Wii version (which I assume is essentially the same game) is: http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/puzzlekingdoms?... kingdoms (a score of 63)
From reading into it a bit, it seems a shame that Puzzle Quest isn't on sale. That actually sounds good judging by reviews.

Anyway, last day of sale today. Everyone get what they wanted? :)

Just two games that I bought: Trine and Borderlands. Both of them on sale of course, Trine 4€ and Borderlands 10,60€( + all the DLCs for 8,13€). I have played Trine for one hour and it is good looking game. Still downloading Borderlands though.

Hey guys, guess what; The Steam Summer sale isn't over! Valve decided to extend the sale one more day and put special prices on the top sellers of the two weeks that the sale was on. And, as always, Valve has a hilarious background image to go along with the sales. Ah, god bless you Valve. Shall the sales always be cheap and plentiful. :3

You can use a controller on your PC

Even your PS3 one

I have no controller I can use for the PC, and I'm not paying $30 for a PC controller and then pay $2 for the game when I can pay $12 to get the PS2 version which I already have everything set up for.
