It's been 24+ hours and there still is no response to my question about why my account is disabled. This is killing me. D=

On the bright side, I'm being far more productive than I used to be.

Do you know if the disable is permanent? Maybe its only for a week or so, and you can just wait a little bit and get it back.

wont be on here anymore

To be honest, I have no idea if it's permanent or temporary. Is there a way to check?

Here is something interesting that I found on the Steam support website:

The Steam Support Page On Disabled Accounts wrote:

Check the contact e-mail address for your Steam account to see if Steam Support has contacted you regarding the reason your account was disabled -...

So far, I haven't gotten an email explaining why my Steam account was disabled. And it's almost been 48 hours. Do you guys think I should send in a ticket for a hijacked account?

@Odnetnin Holy crap! According to that Steam calculator, mine is worth over $1,000! Of course, I know I haven't wasted that amount of money on PC gaming, but that's still pretty impressive! Too bad I can't access any of that $1,000 right now.

@V8 Ninja

Why don't you run the games outside of steam? You can access them at C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommon. Some game are steam independant once they are installed.

I've heard about that, but I'm not sure if it's possible. I tried running some of the games through the program EXEs, but they said that Steam was required to be on before they would start running. I might experiment with them some more. And besides, some games I haven't even downloaded yet, which means that I don't have access to 10% of the games I actually bought.

Super Meat Boy and Star Trek Online work for me outside of steam.

I can't remember how long a response should take. If you don't get anything after 48 hours try hijacked ticket? Not familiar with it myself.

@Rob_mc_1 Guess what? Some of the games actually do work independent of Steam! Well, at least my copy of Borderlands does. I'm gonna check the internet for a list of Steam games that doesn't require Steam later.

@Ravage Yeah, I'm not familiar with the support section of Steam either. However, after some research it appears that most replies will come in 4-6 days after the question has been posted. I'm gonna wait for at least the 96-hour mark before I try to insert a hijacked account complaint.

@irken Hopefully that somehow raises my chances of my account being brought back to life. I mean, if someone planned to do something that went against the Steam EULA, then that means that everything should be Okay for a user that hasn't done anything that violated the rules of Steam...right?

V8 Ninja is sad/depressed.
