Where's this website that tells you if your laptop/PC can run a certain game?

the address for that website is http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/CYRI/intro.aspx has a little java download so the website can check you pc or laptop but i used it and had no probs so its a safe site.

For once, I'm actually genuinely satisfied. No Battlefield for me.

I dunno if this helps i think they say that its a pretty decent single player game but most brought it for the multi player

have to say shame they did 50% off battlefield 2 rather the Bad company 2 as is 33% off ill leave it might wait for the dead space deal.

Nothing this week that I'm crazy about. Crysis I would have, but my laptop is way behind in processor power. Maybe if Spore is reduced a lot, but doubt they'll reduce it enough.

@V8: Sorry I couldn't answer you sooner, but I'm pretty sure that the multiplayer in Battlefield 2 is not dead, unless it died due to Bad Company 2. I don't think it is really worth it for single player, it is just limited multiplayer and is really only ever used for getting used to the mechanics, testing things out, practicing, or if you really want to play it but have no internet available at the time.

Yesterday's Spore deal was awful. $30 for Spore?

I know! I was considering Spore but even in the sale it was way more than I'd pay for it.

At least today's was better. If I had more money, I'd get Mass Effect 2 in a heartbeat. And any Sci-fi/RPG fan should pick up Mass Effect if you haven't already. The gameplay may not be up to snuff (IMO, it plays like a poor man's GRAW), but the sights and story are more than enough to make it worth your 5 bucks.

I've never really been that interested in the series, but for that cheap I would buy it in an instant. Sadly, after going onto the Systems Requirements Lab to check, my Specs aren't even up to minimum standards for the game on the PC. Nevermind, there's always the 360 version.

Oh the requirement thing is so off

According to that site I can't run anything, yet I play games like Left 4 Dead, Mass Effect, and Burnout Paradise with no problem.

I even got Crysis on medium and it looks decent. Unfortunately there's no definite way to tell beforehand if your system can run a game or not.

And yeah I was going to buy Spore until I saw horrible the deal was.

The two Deus Ex games are 75% off, in honor of Deus Ex turning 10. Buy them, play them, then get hyped for Deus Ex 3.
