Topic: The Steam Winter Sale Has Arrived

The (in)famous Steam winter sale has started, and some of the home page deals are Space Engineers for $10, Dark Souls 2 for $15, Metal Gear Solid V for $14, etc. If you plan on holding on to whatever cash you may have, I suggest fleeing the country, burning your bank/credit cards, deactivating your paypal account and cutting all internet cables within two miles of your Mexican-Beach-Hideout. At least, that's what I keep saying I'm going to do, but the sales get to me first.

God, if only I didn't have to still buy Smash U, then I could get something off the winter sale.

Since I have a more gaming able lappy coming in shortly I should possibly pick up a few new games.

Five Night's at Freddy's 2 is!..

Only 20% off. Oh well, I was hoping it would get at least 50% off but it's already a cheap game, and I'm happy to pay for it!

Over the last four or five months, I've almost completely moved away from computer gaming and back towards consoles/handhelds. I'm sure I won't buy anything unless it's a gift for someone, but I do love voting nonsensically.

It may hit a front page deal. Always wait until the last day of the sale to purchase something if it's not on the front page.

I was surprised to see a sequel released so fast too. All rules get through out when Steam Sales happen lol

I might get TMNT out of the shadows... I know the general reviewers say it's bad but I heard a lot of people (mostly huge TMNT fans) like it. I think the arcade mode should be worth it alone.

Haven't seen anything I want yet, when first daily deal came on, I owned 3 of the games.

Also, anyone know when the 12 hour deals change? Is it at 12PM and 12AM to keep it fresh? Doesn't seem to be a timer on the store page.

Probably 1pm Est and 1am Est since the sale started at 1pm Est.

My wallet is grateful that I don't like playing on PC. I still have a copy of KOTOR that I never played even once.

Eh, it's all on sale, but most isn't 75% off. I'm waiting for games to hit that sale. I try to avoid 50% off sales even if I have been suckered in to a couple of them.

I'm done for this year. No more sales for me.

Borderlands the Pre-Sequel for $30 is tempting me, but I haven't played Borderlands 2 very much

You can purchase steam games through an app on your phone.

Apparently MGS V: Ground Zeroes is cheap on Steam, but it also has insane minimum requirements that my computer just can't run. And my PC plays new games like Wolfenstein: The New Order on high settings. :/ So, I'm getting a PS4. I need a machine to run Persona 5 on anyway.
