Stupidity.
Which guy though? I can't remember the differences between the games that much to be honest. I just know I loved all 3.
The one thing I remember is they slightly improved the controls in the 2nd game.

He's all like:

Spider-Man release date confirmed for September 7th.

A bit later than I expected (June-August), but close enough!

Now to see it at the third E3 in a row.

Basically Sony has a rhythm, reveal a game, 2-3 E3s later, its out. Keeps the game in the public consciousness.

Spiderman looks so good. I can stop complaining about not having superhero games that aren't lego based.

How many times can Hitman be remade though? (why isn't it the trilogy?)

Spyro is rumoured to be September too. Red Dead in October.

And this all only on PS4. Imagine if you own a PS4 AND a Switch this holiday. Gonna need to juggle.

Damn, if Spyro's around the same time, I DEFINITELY won't be playing Spiderman, as I'd put Red Dead 2, Dragon Quest and Spyro all ahead of Spiderman.

And in "This week in WTF": Far Cry 5 has sold more copies in Japan than Ni-No-Kuni 2 did. How on earth?

@Dezzy I imagine it'll be rough. I know I'll be getting Smash and (Because it looks likely this year) Pokemon. Spyro on PS4, Ys VIII when I can in the summer...

It's getting packed and cluttered because no one wants to be around Red Dead 2, well...if you're on the same system as that game. The Switch can kinda do what it wants, but when Red Dead lands on PS4 and Xbox, every other game in that window on those systems gets pushed away.

@YummyHappyPills Man if Smash ends up launching in September that month is going to be insane.

Though what's interesting is that while September/October look jam packed, November actually looks quiet.

@IceClimbers Its because all the usual stuff moved AHEAD of Red Dead on PS4/Xbox One.

Remember that's normally the third party month but that seems to be September-October now.

Which means IF Pokemon comes out this year it stands out more than normal at the end of the year.

I dont know if Sony will have anything specific for PS4 in November tbh. MS will have Forza I suppose unless that's September.

Just like Black Friday, the third party storm gets earlier every year...

@YummyHappyPills Forza's been end of September/early October for many years now, I'd guess 28th September/2nd October for Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate/Standard. This whole avoiding Red Dead 2 situation makes me more confident in my prediction that Halo 2018 is just going to be a relaunch of Master Chief Collection.

@YummyHappyPills Skull & Bones would probably be better off launching in February at this point honestly.

I'd bet on Starlink launching the week before Black Friday. Probably that Tuesday.

If Kingdom Hearts 3 does end up launching this year (I'll believe it when I see it), that's assuredly late November/early December.
