Decided to boot up Bloodborne for the first time in a while.
Jesus. It really is bloody fantastic. The detailed animations for the trick weapons alone makes me smile with glee!
It's still the best game of this generation too. Made Dark Souls III seem so bland in comparison, even though I enjoyed the journey and happily played it through to the end, and on NG+ too.
A part of me would be pleased to leave Bloodborne as a standalone entity, and yet I would love another one.

Given that they've said they're done with the Souls series (probably), another Bloodborne would be a good compromise. It probably won't happen due to the licensing issues though. Bloodborne is a Sony exclusive. They only made it because Sony made a deal with them to help boost the PS4. Sony no longer need that so probably wouldn't pay for another. So if they did make another, they'd need another name.
That would take it up to 4 different names for the same series, which would get a bit silly!
At this point, I'm more excited for Nioh than any Souls game FromSoft could make.
I wouldn't say no to a Demon's Souls or Dark Souls remake, though. I'll probably never own a PS3, and the PC version of Dark Souls isn't great unless you mod it.
??? I never modded Dark Souls on the PC, and it runs fine for me. Better than the 360 version, at least.
Granted, I don't ever deal with mods, I have a very strict "If its NOT officially supported, don't install it" policy, considering my luck with computer programs. Fallout 3 & NV were the only exceptions, and I will forever hate Bethesda for forcing my hand there, especially since they had no excuse.
@CanisWolfred Unless the game has been updated without me hearing about it, Dark Souls only displays at 1024x720 on PC unless you mod it with DSFix. Not the biggest pain in the world, but FromSoft has been banning PC users who mod their games from interacting with the larger pool of people playing the game (at least with regard to DS3, although I've heard of people getting punished when modding DS1 as well).
Here's a picture Kotaku used to compare the before and after with DSFix.
I honestly never looked at the settings, tbh. Last time I played was on a beta patch, too. I appreciate them trying to oust the hackers, though, since I encountered some really annoying crap last time I played.
@CanisWolfred A surprising number of really big developers appear to have no idea how to create proper PC ports for their games.
I'm coming under the increasing impression that they don't really care. Or at least, they didn't before Steam put in a refund policy. Now a few of them at least seem to be thinking twice before announcing a PC release that they don't really want to devote resources to!
Well, at least Rockstar is, and admittedly, they're better than most AAA companies.
I wonder if the Vita even has any exclusives left that aren't soft core porn.
Don't ****ing remind me.
...but at least it means the Vita version will go down in price quicker. I'm not gonna lie, more than half of the novelty to me is that fact it looks like a silly Resi4 in portable form. I seriously don't have any reason to buy this on a console that already has Resi4 installed right to the freakin' harddrive.

Lol. I dunno about exclusives but we'll hopefully be getting Dragon Quest Heroes 2 and Ys 8 localizations.
Looking forward to playing Shantae on the Vita too.
