I think $10-15 is fair for what is being done for them. N64 games are $10 on Wii U and I guarantee that if Wii U got GameCube games they'd all be $15 a piece.

So is anyone planning to watch the whole thing? I've looked at the schedule thingy for it on Gamespot and it doesn't look appealing at all. Greg Miller and in particular the idiot Moriarty getting exposure at a PS event will only be cringeworthy and annoying, I'd love it if someone hijacked the event and reminded Moriarty of his finest hour at IGN which was his pathetic Vita v 3DS article. I don't know who would be more embarrassed, the Sony reps or Moriarty lol. But yeah apart from that standout thing the rest is really bland and uninteresting, COD, Uncharted, VR and fighting games, all of which mean absolutely nothing to me. But hey, it's looking like there's going to be a Bit Trip collection announced at the event, that's something unexpected that appeals to me so maybe there is hope for the event? Doesn't seem like it'll be a repeat of E3, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing in Sony's case.

To be fair, E3 is never going to be the same after Sony's conference back in June.

It was the place where dreams came true!

Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last Guardian (re-reveal after a very long hiatus) and Shenmue III.

We shall never see anything quite like that again, or at least not for a very, very long time.

I just hope to see at least one surprise and for them to show more of the lesser known titles that will be coming out in 2016, and more of Gran Turismo Sport would be very welcome too. I am also wondering if Crash Bandicoot will turn up...

On another subject altogether, this PlayStation Experience poster is AWESOME!

NI NO KUNI II!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so beautiful!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Ratchet & Clank looks awesome! Also Ni No Kuni 2!!!!

That PlayStation VR segment though.... they tried to murder VR there. The Tron demo at the beginning reminded me of the Kinect E3 demos, while the demo for Rez Infinite was Wii Music demo + acid trip. The game looks cool though.

I loved Ni No Kuni on the PS3, so I cannot wait for the Revenant Kingdom Ni No Kuni 2 for the PS4.

Overall it wasn't a bad conference, however the lack of Horizon, Detroit, The Last Guardian, and No Man's Sky was concerning. Sony's 1st party showing was pretty limited - Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, Fat Princess Adventures, and couple small things.

If Sony doesn't bring it with 1st party showings at E3, then I will definitely be concerned for the generation.

Yeah well NNK2RK immediately goes right to the top of my most wants games after Xenoblade X's recent release. Wow couldn't have timed it better in my dreams, the day after the sequel to my favourite JRPG came out a sequel to my 3rd favourite JRPG is announced. Made up and I have 100% confidence in Level-5, albeit I'm disappointed in the lack of Oliver, Esther and Drippy in particular, let's hope the new cast are even better!

Oh and as for the rest of the show couldn't care less really. All I need now is The Last of Us 2 (which is inevitable) and my PS4 will have delivered what I wanted. These new games and franchises I haven't tried yet are just a bonus.

Oh and my favourite cringe part was that guy who obviously drew the short straw beforehand and had to talk about the few games that had Vita ports as if he or anyone at Sony cares anymore about the thing. "And for Vita!" holds up Vita that he has totally played on for hundreds of hours such cringe. The thing's just an afterthought and that just summed it up perfectly. Wonder if VR will get the same treatment in 3-4 years time if it flops? "And for VR!" puts on goggles

Was a bit saddened by that crash bandicoot shirt. Sheesh either a new crash game is coming or it isn't.

@Peek-a-boo:
It's hilarious, the hypocrisy of Nintendo fanboys. I think the pricing is a bit ridiculous for the PS2 games but the last people on Earth who should be calling out Sony are Nintendo fanboys when their favorite corporation (who doesn't give a damn about them) prices VC games just as absurd.

Nothing was going to beat their E3 showing, but it was pretty good if a somewhat overlong showing.

You also have to remember that Sony attended not only E3 but the Games Developer Conference, Tokyo Games Show, Paris Games Week as well as hosting their very own conference, the PlayStation Experience. That's five big shows in less than NINE MONTHS!

These are just some of my personal favourite showings:

1) Ace Combat 7, and in glorious VR too
2) Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuki, Juri, Urien confirmed for Street Fighter V (I am so, so glad Urien is back)
3) Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle remastered revealed (and on PS Vita too!)
4) Final Fantasy VII Remake (the short-but-sweet gameplay that was shown EXCEEDED my expectations)
5) Ni-Oh looks like more and more like Onimusha jumbled together with hints of Ninja Gaiden and Tenchu
6) Ratchet & Clank looks like a Pixar film in motion; the pixel gun made me chuckle!
7) Rez in VR is going to be a huge selling point for hundreds if not thousands of fans and newcomers alike
8) The 100-Foot Robot Golf VR game looks both ridiculous and brilliant all at once
9) Yakuza 0 is coming to the West, hooray!

The genuine surprise of the PlayStation Experience was Ni No Kuni II: Revanant King! I never expected to see a sequel for this, let alone being shown in a cutscene and gameplay montage at the end of a video games conference.

Just a shame the ending was an anticlimax, closing with 'Paragon' which was unveiled in CGI form as opposed to actual gameplay. Bleh.

I really hope that the PlayStation VR costs $250 or less otherwise it is DOA; I would rather they make a small loss on each unit to ensure they are out in the wild for more exposure and ultimately, more games.

Not a bad show in all and like I said, they attended five big separate conferences in less than nine months. You cannot have unrealistic expectations all the time I'm afraid.

I think they damaged PlayStation VR's chances big time there. There's always the emergency plan though: VR porn w/ Brazzers subscription.

@IceClimbers: I skipped the VR part because there is 0 chance of me buying it but now I'm curious what did they show that damaged its chances? Did they show it like it's transparent? Because it's bugged me how they've done that in the past.

@TheLastLugia: They had a live tech demo that was eerily similar to the Wii/Kinect tech demos. The demo also messed up a bit. It was cringeworthy. Then they followed it up with Rez, which looks great, but the acid trip-like show they put on around it was weird.

Here's the first tech demo:

@IceClimbers: yeah I see what you mean, I'm soooooo excited about spending £300 to play virtual frisbee now :/ tbf it's not like there was a chance I was going to buy it before. They'll sort things out (probably) and there will be better games than this tech demo that use it, did Ubisoft announce a flying eagle simulator game for it? That's what I heard at least. Albeit I'm personally not interested, I do want it to be successful, this could work and could take the industry forward, just Sony aren't inspiring me with confidence ATM.

The whole PlayStation VR was a demonstration of two halves:

a) The Tron-esque disc game that went horribly wrong and reminded me of the first woeful Kinect showing that was just as bad. It made me think, 'I don't want this...'.

b) Rez in VR looks like the best thing ever and is going to a body warping experience, even more so if you drink or take drugs. It made me think, 'I really want this ... NOW!'.

Quite incredible how two totally different demonstrations made me swing backwards and forwards in my opinion for the PlayStation VR.
