I earned the platinum trophy for Far Cry 4 a few hours ago.

Red Dead Redemption is still the best thing ever, though.

Crap, why didn't I finish Far Cry 4? I was having a blast...same with Dragon Age: Inquisition, actually...pretty sure I was in the middle of a quest...

Now that I think about it, Towerfall is my most-played PS4 game...I kinda expected that, though...

I really like the creativity of Far Cry's more recent antagonists.

I hope we get a ridiculously, outrageous antagonist in Blood Dragon II.

I blame the menu, it doesn't really put your stuff at the forefront so I tend to forget what I own. I only put Far Cry 4 down because I was tired, and then I just kinda...forgot it was there.

Anyways, I'm gonna try out Jamestown+ for a bit, then I'll finally pop in Final Fantasy Type-0.

I'm amazed I actually managed to get the Changing Lanes trophy I needed for the platinum from a random.

Also, even though I've gotten the platinum, there is still a bunch of stuff to do in the game. Like another one of those Shangri-La missions. And tons of escort missions.

Anyone else here played Episode Duscae yet?

Sure. Who wouldn't start with the demo for a hugely anticipated upcoming game, which takes something along the lines of 3 hours to explore, before diving into the 40+ hour RPG it comes along with?

I… I’m a changed young man. I played my friends’ white limited edition PS4 today and my experience with the console was just…. WOW. I UNDERSTAND NOW. I GET IT. I UNDERSTAND THE HYPE AND PRAISE FOR THE PS4. I UNDERSTAND WHY ITS SELLING LIKE CRAZY! The controller feels amazing and the interface is sleek and sexy yet simple. I played Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends and DEAR GAWD. WHAT A GAME. SUCH A PRETTY AND FUN GAME. Rayman Legends IS Ubisoft’s best game! I almost feel like crying. That sounds weird but I really do feel like shedding a tear, dude. I won’t be able to get my own PS4 in a few months and the wait for the console is driving me insane. Walmart is offering a crazy good PS4 bundle deal and I’m totally buying it when I save up enough cash. The PS4 has left me speechless and I don’t even own it… yet.

Jamestown+ Is immensely fun, btw. It reminds me a lot of Raiden Fighters and Cave's vertical-oriented works. It also reminds me why Bullet-hells are the only shmups I can really play anymore.

The controller is pretty awesome, @Blast. Also, The Last of Us rocks. Hard.

Unless you have some kind of immense aversion to third-person "shoulder shooters," most gamers should play it at some point.

I don't know, compared to Uncharted, I found The Last of Us pretty boring. Then again, outside of the limited ammo, it just felt like a really clunky Uncharted (minus the setpieces that made Uncharted fun). In fact, I really don't get what people were supposed to like about it? The story about terrible human beings being terrible human beings? The frequent QTEs? The cheap AI that knows where you are at all times so long as they've seen you once?

It's like it was trying way too hard to be Resident Evil 4, yet missed every point that made Resi 4 work...

To be fair, Uncharted 1 was also a really clunky Uncharted game. As far as I can tell, UC2 was the only half-way decent one. I'll never understand why post-Uncharted 1 Naughty Dog is so highly regarded.

I actually really dislike the PS4 button. The touchpad is gigantic and awkward. The share and options buttons are kind of sunken into the controller and are hard to press. Also, the share button is one of the most useless things I've ever seen on a controller. Other than the D-Pad and triggers, everything about it is inferior to the other Dual Shock designs.

Also, The Last of Us: Remastered is very pretty and cinematic, but it is perhaps the most overrated thing I've ever played in my life. It's the video game equivalent of "Oscar bair."

With that said, I do still love my PS4. The UI is nice, and it seems like it is getting some really good games fairly early in its lifespan. Also, Japanese support. Even if most of the games I want for it are multiplats, the fact that it'll be getting Japanese exclusives like Persona 5, Disgaea 5, etc. makes it infinitely more attractive than the Xbone.

Hmmm... Last of Us isn't really for me. I like third person shoulder shooters like Mass Effect and Uncharted, though.

@Ralizah Not this clunky. Uncharted had much better aiming, much better level layout, hell, even slight better movement and control. The way it handles health and ammo also feel unnecessary for this type of game. It reminds me of Bioshock in the worst possible ways.

Speaking of uncharted, you guys think an uncharted collection will come out this holiday to ease the wait for the delayed uncharted 4?

^Most definitely. They'd be dumb not to. The real question is: Will it include a remastered version of Golden Abyss?

Wouldn't be a bad idea to sweeten the deal. Plus the master chief collection had 4 games.

I can't wait for the bundle. It's definitely coming, I agree. I played a bunch of the first game at a friend's house, and the second here and there, but I've never owned them nor had the chance to play through them at my own pace.

God of War 3 is being remade for PS4.... But you know... You can find it super cheap for PS3 so I don't know whose exactly super pumped to buy God of War 3 for PS4.

I like how people were complaining about Nintendo releasing too many remakes when Ocarina of Time 3D, Starfox 64 3D, and Wind Waker HD came out, but now Sony is making even more pointless remakes. The Last of Us really didn't need to be re-released of the PS4 a year after its original release but nobody complained about that. Now with God of War 3 it again just seems pointless to me to remake a game in glorious 1080p HD when it already looked fine to begin with.

Basically, I feel that remaking games from last-gen is pointless and if Sony is going to remake any games, they're better off porting Vita games to the PS4.
