That reveal was pretty underwhelming but I'm going to wait until E3 before I pass judgement. All I can say is that I hope the controller gets a snazzy redesign.

This announcement doesn't really affect Nintendo or Microsoft at all IMO. The controller isn't cool. The Wii U can still play WatchDogs, will probably get Destiny, and that timed exclusive will probably come to Wii U. I found no reason to want a PS4 today.
I think it will start losing steam halfway through the gen.
Nintendo beat them to the punch to this gen, and Xbox is still working on getting their full featured console going.
PS4 seems like a total last minute effort even though it wasn't. Their mindset isn't in the right place IMO. That alone gives me doubt about it.
Sony's better off going back to TVs and A/V components.

It looks like Xbox 360's, except blue instead of green.

I don't really care what the PS4 can do. I just want it to cause SONY to cheapen PS3 so I can pick it up at a steal. There are a few titles I wouldn't mind having.

If you're going to rip off Nintendo (come on, they didn't even try hiding it), then ADAPT THEIR CONTROLLER. Don't just STICK A SMALL TOUCHSCREEN ON A DUAL SHOCK.

Well... to get one fact out, its a touch pad on the PS4 controller not a touch screen. Same as the touchpad on the back of the PS Vita.

it also replaces the start and select button if i read correctly before, not a bad thing in my imo
