I I plan to get around to finishing Alan Wake finally

i'll be watching what ever is on family channel for halloween movies. might see if freddy vs jason is on tv sometime. don't really have any halloween themed games though

Halloween isn't really a "thing" in Japan. I think at most people really associate it with the Disney parks as they have fairly big horror-themed events there. Other than that I always forget about Halloween happening until like, days after its past and then I'm like "oh yeah, that exists!"

I think outside of that Halloween in Japan is really more about private costume parties. I do see costume stuff a lot this time of year. I've never gone to one of these parties. Its not a huge thing though. I look forward to Christmas/New Years every year though.

I have always wanted to try German Halloween though. Ever since I was a kid I always thought that outside of North America, the biggest Halloween celebrations were in Germany. Does anyone else know about this?

The Steam Halloween sale is bound to have some solid choices for anyone looking. I'm hoping to pick up Amnesia and Lone Survivor for cheap.
Some great horror-themed games I already own are Left4Dead 1 and 2, RE: 4, RE: Revelations, Castlevania: DoS, and Binding of Isaac.

Been replaying RE: Revelations as I get ready for RE 6. I'm hoping Telltale can deliver The Walking Dead Ep. 4 sometime this month.

I might also play a little Luigis Mansion and Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Just started playing metroid 2 on a new save. Its a pretty creepy game and the fights with the metroids are tense and sometimes make me jump alittle. Not having a world map makes the game even. Harder trying to memorize where save and health spots are.

Also finished the 2nd season of the walking dead. Hopefully episoide 4 of the game hits next week.

Well I have had a copy of Resident Evil Revelations still sealed waiting for this occasion. So I will be cracking that bad boy open here in a few week (been waiting for this moment since I picked it up) for my spooktacular Halloween current gen run. As for my retro I think it will be time to fire up some Zombie At My Neighbors on the Wii VC and one of my personal favorites Nightmare on Elm Street on the NES.

Silent Hill Shattered Memories,and maybe Resident Evil Revelations.

Man I really want to play shattered memeories. NWR did a podcast on it a few weeks ago and it sounded great.

I hope to pick up a copy of RE: Revelations before the month is over. Maybe play some games in Left 4 Dead 2 as well.

Probably just Darkstalkers and Disgaea. I kinda used up/sold off all of my other holloween games by now, plus I prefer stuff that's dark and twisted, but not horrifying, so my options are a bit limited.

Might go watch Soul Eater, too.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Luigi's Mansion! Will probably play more of that, too!
