hey guys i just got done talking to a support represenative on Humble bundles site, here is the conversation, bolded parenthesis are things i added to explain stuff. (well after my original problem was solved)
→do you have ny plans for a humble bundle 5? idk why but it feels like its been a while, maybe since your last bundle was so great you arent shutting down are you!?!? (<--- This portion was a joke we made from earlier)
Johannes: haha, noo we're not shutting down
Johannes: you'll notice that most game developers don't release during this time of year
Johannes: people simply tend to buy games around the holidays; not so much right after
→ah, that makes sense
Johannes: suffice it to say, we're working hard on the next bundle
Johannes: however, it's unlikely that it will be a numbered bundle (<--- This is what i wanted to share)
Johannes: if you look back at our releases, HiB4 wad december, HiB3 was in the summer
Johannes: HiB2 was december of last year
Johannes: and HiB1 was in may
→thankyou for the information,
Johannes: so you can expect a numbered bundle about every half a year
→ya dont you do like themed bundles between them?
Johannes: (winky face!)
Johannes: anyways, thanks for stopping by!
→aww!
→thanks
so while this isn't really new news, since the numbers come out around every six months as the rep stated, it does tell me that we will definitly have a themed bundle! Any guesses on a theme?
Also, if for some reason you don't believe the conversation, think i just typed it out, or changed the text, please don't even bother to respond. We all know how easy it would be to fake this. so whether you believe me or not, thats your choice.

I wish I didn't miss out on Humble Bundle 4, but oh well. This is one cool way to get indie games noticed.
the fourth was my first and i am very pleased. I was one of those people who paid a penny over the minimum, but a few days after i felt bad and felt like i had stolen the games and dropped some money on my way out, so i upped the donation. I love what they do and what they stand for. I plan to get the next one even if i don''t like the games, because i love how they can give the money to charities if you want, or the developers. they are some pretty cool people over there!

Oh gosh, I totally forgot about the options of splitting your money! That's one of the coolest ideas I've seen in a charity. And I love how Linux user are very charitable and generous.
I feel bad for the devs of the next bundle cause for the first time I'm planning on designating 100% of my purchase to go to the EFF. They got left out of HiB4.

Thanks for letting people know. As you might imagine almost all questions we get right now are 'when will hib5 come out'.
It's amazing how much information about future releases you can get if you just look at our wikipedia article.

You'll be happy to know that it's likely that EFF will be back for the next bundle. The developers chose to include the red cross in the last bundle, but it was a very close vote. They may cycle in future bundles, but that's too early to know for sure.
Anyways, as you mentioned in the opening post, no you don't have any way of knowing if this reply is really being made by the same 'Johannes', although you're welcome to ask me about it if you catch me on the chat widget when I'm online
I am thinking about it but I already have 2 out of the 4 games... but not for Android though... Time to buy it I can't wait to play these games on my android phone when I get one in several years time (Jumping the gun a bit but still )
Hmmm, not sure if I should grab this one, seeing as I already have 2 those games, plus I don't have an Android device, but I'll consider it. Great idea though.

Live chat confirmed compatibility and from there downloading and installing was a breeze. For anyone interested:
Note that the first two steps, while necessary, are for installing any non-Amazon Appstore applications, not specifically for downloading Humble Bundle games. 1. Go into your advanced settings, then Device, and turn "Allow Installation of Applications from Unknown Sources" on. 2. Download a free file-manager app like Easy Installer. 3. Buy the Humble Bundle for Android. 4. Using the built-in email app, find the email containing your key, and visit the included link using the Silk browser. 5. Download away!
Pretty simple, actually. If for some reason you can't access the link, the alternative is downloading the .apk files to your computer and transferring them manually to the Kindle via USB.
The Android bundle just ended a day ago and already, there's a new bundle on the way! The next bundle is debuting in a couple of days and it'll from Mojang of Minecraft fame and will be called...
The Humble Bundle Mojam [youtube:b8MhLvjoBTs] Mojang will develop a brand new game in 60 hours for the bundle and you can visit their blog to vote on what type of game it will be. Anyone that donates will receive the game and all proceeds will be donated to charity.

I've always wanted a steampunk FPS. ~We just need more steampunk games~

As of this moment, it looks to be an Ancient Egypt Steampunk RTS SHMUP. Gotta make sure you're reading the poll the right way, they're gonna take the highest and lowest in each category and combine them to make a game. I like SHMUPs though, sounds fun!
