Are you concerned with the older or newer titles?
Any suggestions to developers that you might want to see in future releases?
Or how about the idea of a new series of Namco Museum titles that contain titles of the golden 90's like Ridge Racer?
Forgotten and overlooked classics like Nebulas Ray and Aqua Rush...
Your high scores and tips...
All can be discussed here.

I <3 Namco!
Their best game was Galaga, IMO. So playable and replayable. Always a delight.
I became a fan when I played Pac-Man and Galaga at a machine about 9 years ago.
I love both their old and new games. They're both often great.
No tips just yet...
And I'd love a comp. containing Ridge Racer! I loved that game way back when! The new ones are pretty iffy, though, the style just ain't there. It feels so...cheezy, but in a bad why. Like stale cheeze that's been forced onto a moldy cracker, the kind you'd never use for cheeze. Yeah. It just don't feel (or smell ) right.

I hope we get some good Gundam games now that they've merged with Namco-Bandai. Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record UC 0081 and Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 both look extremely good, IMO.

I loved Namco since I was very little (I was probably 5 ['96], 6 ['97], maybe 7 ['98] years old when I played their games for the first time). I first played the Namco games on the PC collection via Microsoft Return of Arcade (I still have the box). Pac-Man and Pole Position were great; Galaxian was okay, but when I was little the sounds from that game were depressing, and became my least favorite game in the series because of that, not to mention it was a bit slow; Dig Dug is completely wonderful, it's always been my favorite game out of the four (still is), and I love the challenge from that game. Nothing beats good old Dig Dug, imo, not even its follow-up Dig Dug II (even though I like that game).

Nice reply I became familiar with Namco by playing Ridge Racer 1 and 2 in the arcades, in 1993 and 1994; these games changed everything about the way i looked at videogames. It blew me away. How could a racegame in such detail display a day-to-night cycle? Not to mention it's high-quality hardcore soundtrack.

I agree on the Ridge Racer titles, except on Ridge Racer 6 which had a soundtrack that can blow everybody totally to pieces. Oh i LOVE the Sampling Masters. Who they are i will explain later here, because they are absolute legends in the game soundtrack fan community.

All i can say for now is...

Dig-Dug, Pole Position, and Pac-Man all rock! I liked Galaxian, too. Ever play Mappy? It's a classic, IMO.

Yes, I've played Mappy, too. I played that game for the first time on one of my Italian cousins' Power Joy (plug'n'play controller that lets you play NES and FamiCom titles) several years ago before I moved here, so I played the FamiCom version of the game first (at the time, I didn't even though it was a port of the arcade game; heck, I didn't even know many of the games in the PowerJoy were actual NES or FamiCom games until I found out in the internet). I think it's a fun game, too. I have it now for Namco Museum 50th Anniversary for the GameCube (the arcade original). Mappy's fun to control, and I love how if you manage to get two of the same object consecutively, the door will have powers when you try to open it.

TIME CRISIS!! First in the arcades then eventually I bought a PS2 just to play Time Crisis 3. IMO the best lightgun games evermade. Just Awesome.
Also enjoyed Ridge Racer ,Eternal Sonata ,Tales of Symphonia and just recently Enslaved.

What's this bit for again?

"Action!!!!" haha. Such a fantastic game. Would be perfect for a newer Wii Namco Museum Compilation using the nunchuck to hide and the wii-mote to aim, Namco!

Your right. When I started to see old and new light gun games appear on the Wii my hopes were high. But alas I seem to think that Sony has exclusive rights to the Time Crisis games. I may be wrong and if so .....WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOIN NAMCO???!! I really don't wanna have to buy a PS3 as well!! But I would eventually

What's this bit for again?

Well, Namco is free to do whatever they want to do, as long as they do not break a commitment that could be made. I dunno about the 'exclusive rights' of the Time Crisis franchise though. However, i do hope that certain franchises get a chance to get released on all current systems. A lot of people never heard of games like Aqua Rush (which remains my favourite puzzler ever, as i played in an arcade in Tokyo, 2000) but deserve a 'second chance' so to speak.

Anyone here ever play Suzuki 8 Hours? Fun motorcycle racing arcade game, I played it a few times at an arcade. I looked up awhile ago that it was ported to the SNES (I'm wondering how accurate the port is to the arcade original).

Pac Man Championship Edition DX FTW!!!

I've played the first edition of Pac Man CE on the Virtual Arcade compilation which got scratched by my failing 360 hardware , But i thought it was the best version of Pac Man
Not to mention the Galaga title...

A recommendation my friend. I've played all recent versions of the Namco Museum (except the remix on Wii) but this one is the best in my opinion because of the exclusive titles. But since i don't have a 360 anymore, i will definitely get Namco Museum Megamix on the Wii

I suppose that while we're still talking Namco, how about Pac & Pal? Fun game. I like how Pac-Man's ally is from his enemies' species (Pal is good).

Yes! I love Pac Man games, especially Ms. Pac Man, Pac & Pal, Super Pac Man and Pac Land. The one i do not like is Pac Mania, haha. Pac & Pal is a Galaga meets Pac Man game.... LOL

I don't get it =/
I respect everyone's opinions (even if I may disagree sometimes), especially yours, '90s Gamer, but what you got against Pac-Mania? It's isometric, it's colorful, and you can jump.
