Well, in fact i think it started with Diablo III secret level, then, in "magicka: the other side of the coin", i found lightblue wodden horses that, when killed, give you an achievement called "friendship is magick".
And then this, forgive me but i think of this as a reference too, and speaking fo colors, i think the palette is pretty similar to the one used in the show.

It doesn't look really that accurate. Also what TBD says, it looks more like a donkey than a unicorn. But I can see how you could think that from it.

I'm with Benjamin Rosa on this; while I don't like the MLP reboot, I highly doubt that Pyroland is some sort of secret homage to MLP. And besides, Pyroland fits in with TF2s style of surreal comedy.

The humor and light heartedness of the game are what makes it so great. And no I don't think MLP belongs anywhere near Zelda, I have a hard enough time enjoying the Zelda series..

As for the "friendship is magick" achievement you mentioned, I have no way of knowing if that's true or not as I haven't played the game.

Anyway that video doesn't represent bronies at all. Granted a small minority or creepy weirdos may do something like this, but those type of people are a part of every fanbase.
