Right now I dont have any really rare or valuable games at the moment although I plan to pick up Symphony Of The Night for the Saturn eventually. I was just wondering what you guys got?

I've got several snes games that go for $40-$60. Turtles in time, mario rpg, zombies ate my neighbor etc. Never have been able to get one of the more expensive ones. Sadly I think dbz tenkaichi 3 for ps2 is my most expensive game. No idea why that one got so pricey. Which I remember getting it when it first came out, and it being a lot of fun.

That's probably my rarest and most valuable. However I also own the following

SNES
FF III
Chrono Trigger
Final Fight III
Harvest Moon
TMNT IV: Turtles in Time

Sega CD
Final Fight

N64
Gold OoT

Gamecube
Skies of Arcadia

That's all I cam think of now.

Apparently Tales of Destiny. Price shot up to more than double almost immediately after I bought it, and it's only gotten more expensive since.

Sweet Jesus, Earthbound is such an amazing game.

My most expensive purchase was a Like New (not quite, but very, very good - only mark was to the box) Special Edition of Skyward Sword as I really wanted the gold Wii Remote.

Presumably it's not particularly rare, but the Wii Remote was the only reason I could justify for paying as much as I did.

I doubt I have any rare games as I only started buying console games 2 years ago really.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Most likely Rage of the Dragons on Neo Geo AES, followed by Garou: MotW, Last Blade 2, King of Fighters '03 and the recent NCI release of Breakers Revenge. Then the rest of the Home Carts.... Neo Drift Out on Neo CD wasn't cheap either.

I have a complete UK/Euro clamshell Neo Geo Pocket Color collection, including the five ridiculously uncommon B&W games and Pocket Reversi, which technically shouldn't have been released.

As for other systems.... Harmful Park, Little Ralph, Zanac X Zanac and Captain Commando on PSone, Kaze Kiri for the PC Engine, Wolf Fang SS and Elevator Action Returns for the Saturn immediately spring to mind. Oh, and Power Strike 2 for the Master System.

Probably Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, that game shot up in price not long after I bought it and keeps increasing. A huge shame though as Ike's games are the best in the franchise. (After you realize how to make sure Micaiah isn't a complete weakling by the end of part 1, Radiant Dawn turns from a terrible game to a fantastic game though not as good as PoR).

All are SEALED copies of Fire Emblem games btw, not open. Although I have open copies too. These are just the most expensive.

Also have tons of $50-60 GameCube games. Also think the Pikmin New Play Control games on Wii are getting pricy, at least, they were a year or so ago.

I have some expensive SNES games that I got while prices were relatively sane: EarthBound, EVO, Hagane (Japan), CIB (though a bit poor condition) US Ogre Battle (okay, that cost like $100) I paid a bit for some of the rarer games in my SFC RPG collection: Love Quest and Dark Law CIB. Took awhile to find a copy of Ultima: The Savage Empire (the only SNES game to see its English release canceled). I also have Motoko's Wonder Kitchen, a rare but cheap promo game. (I have Super Tetris 2+Bombliss "Limited Edition" but that seems more common than the normal one ).

Marble Madness for Mega Drive (the good Tengen version released in Japan, not the EA version released in the west) is one that will probably shoot up at some point.

And some Famicom games that have been rapidly rising in price: Over Horizon, Moon Crystal, Holy Diver (though all loose) and 100 World Story is probably my rarest CIB.

Haven't really looked up what my PS2 collection is worth but I think I got nearly all the late-era RPGs upon release. Certainly one of THOSE is a rare thing? (I do recall paying a lot for a CIB Suikoden V)

I spent way too much on Fire Emblem Thracia 776 though. First one of the Nintendo Power flash carts, then hearing about another collector seeing those starting to go corrupt (at which they said they would no longer pursue the NP-only games), I bought a loose retail copy (which is even more expensive).

I don't know but probably a few Dreamcast games I have bought for peanuts when the system was declared dead in 2004: Shenmue 2, Cannon Spike, Project Justice or stuff like that. I don't "collect" so none of these was bought with the intention of collecting something valuable (and at the time, they certainly weren't valuable).

I also have the indie release Sturmwind bought for something like €25 when it came out three or four years ago on Dreamcast but I was unable to find a copy on ebay to check the current price, so my guess is that it was a good buy.

It's sad to see how much the Dreamcast scene was ruined by the speculative bubble - prices for the "obvious" stuff has tripled for no particular reason since there's still so many copies around (games like Virtua Fighter 3TB, MSR, Soul Calibur, Jet Set Radio, sports games etc are still super easy to find but what was €3 back then is now €10 plus). What was uncommon and sold for €10 to €20 is now €30 to €60. Funnily enough the japanese shmups, which have always been €100 to €150 even a few months after release...are still €100 to €150 (and still sitting pretty, and unsold, in Buy It Now auctions for more than 10 years now...)

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

I used to own an NES game called Snow Brothers, which fetches pretty high prices. I sold a VERY used copy without a box or anything online for around $100 last year

Currently Playing: Yakuza Kiwami 2 (SD)

Suikoden 1 and 2... not sure if there still valuable after they were re-released?

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?

2 still goes for a s***ton of money. You can easily get $100 for a copy of Suikoden 2 with case/manual. I'd like to buy a copy, but I don't want to spend that much.

Regretting I didn't buy a copy I found locally for like $30 loose, but that was like 2002 or so when NES games cost almost nothing.
Had to settle for getting the Game Boy version, which is the cheapest. I wouldn't be surprised if even that version has become expensive now.
