Only 15,000 copies of the $99.99 collector’s edition will be produced. It will include:
[list]
[*]A copy of the game
[*]Ufotable-illustrated special packaging
[*]Paperbck novel detailing the events between both games
[*]Multi-disc soundtrack CD
[*]Five “Chibi Kyun Chara” figures – Lloyd Irving, Colette Brunel, Emil Castagnier, Marta Lualdi, and Tenebrae
I'm not interested in any special edition paraphernalia but I know a lot of people love this stuff.
I borrowed this game once and played it with my brother on the gamecube. Never finished it, so I would like to see this for wii U, albeit not very likely.

I won't be supporting devs that decide to ignore Wii U or Nintendo in general, so I won't be supporting this slap in the face to Nintendo fans.
It's not really a slap in the face since most of the Tales games have been PS3 exclusives this generation. Plus, Tales of Symphonia was on the PS2 in Japan, so the first one was on both Sony and Nintendo platforms.

And yet, the GC versions got release outside of Japan.
@Longforgotten I asked NamcoBandai about a potential Wii U version and they said that they're looking into it, but even if it does happen will it be localized?

There's no sense in trying to guess what platform a Tales game will be released on and whether or not it will be localized. Namco Bandai has absolutely no consistency when it comes to this franchise. Install base and sales seem to have no influence whatsoever on their decisions.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
@DGGames I wouldn't take it that seriously if I were you. Namco's handling of the series, in regards to publishing, has generally been pretty questionable at best. I don't think even they know what they're doing anymore.

No go for me on the collector's pack. I've had my fill of those...
Yeah, the steep increase in price seems to be the figurines. Usually you get an artbook, soundtrack CD, and maybe an exclusive costume/skin for an extra 10 bucks, which I can usually go for. $100 for some toys though isn't worth it to me.

Considering how much those toys usually go for, I'd say it's a bit of a bargain, but I just don't want any more collector's packs period.
