PSP. Only Sony system I ever bought actually as I usually have stuck with Nintendo (with a dash of Sega thrown in years after the systems were released). The PSP was just simply not the system for me. Sonic was ok on it, but the biggest issue was, it was missing my all time favorite game series like Mario and Zelda.....the system ended up getting stolen anyway though.

GameBoy Color, and to a lesser extent the N64...sort of, then again....agh! Still, i'm glad i got it. Super Mario 64 & Perfect Dark's multiplayer alone would of been worth the buy!
There, fixed that for ya
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

I would've said Game Boy Color if I bought mine and it wasn't a birthday present. But I did get Dragon Warrior I&II with it and I got DW3 and Oracle of Seasons sometime after release. (would've got Oracle of Ages as well if I had known they weren't pulling a Pokemon somehow with the double release)
I got Lufia: The Legend of Returns but that was a disappointment from the SNES games (though I'll probably end up buying it on VC anyways).
I have Dragon Warrior Monsters but that was pretty bad at some point I got an Azure Dreams cart but I don't think I played much.
I think that was the extent of my "back in the day" GBC collection (at that point I probably had a good 20 or 30 original GB games).
@WaveBoy
I liked the GBC ALOT. I never had a GB, and got GBC while it was new. I can see why GBC wouldn't matter that much if you already had GB. Also, GBC played GB games in color, which I also wish was part of the 3DS VC... I loved the N64, too. My first game was DK64, and I basically uppgraded from NES. That's a pretty big step. My cousins had PS1, but even at 6 years old, I could tell the graphics weren't as good on PS1, but I still liked RE, Megaman 8, etc. games. Scolde me it you will, but I've never owned a PS1 or PS2 game.
Once PS2 "won" 6th gen, I was convinced that graphics would never matter that much, so lesson learned. I think GBC had a stornger pallette than NES, and GB had better aniimation, BTW.
The gameboy color easily had the worst selection and shortest lived(outside the VB & Game&Watch) 'color' games out of nintendo's entire Hand held history. Link's Awakening DX(Or the pokemon games if you're a fan of those) is the cream of the crop no doubt, but the GBC's color palete was extremely lacking.....Correct me if i'm wrong but it didn't offer as much color variations as the nes.
GBC had a large palette but the problem was that, like the original GBA and WonderSwan Color (another portable I have but haven't played much), it suffers from lack of built-in light, so games would usually use very bright colors to sort of make up for it.
I had already bought the original version of Link's Awakening, and I've seen since that, no the upgrade would not have been worth paying full price again (and then some, since my LA was a Player's Choice). Pokemon, I had both Red and Blue (kind of a dumb move and why I was avoided buying both Zelda Oracle games). Didn't buy the GBC games, felt I had my fill on Red and Blue. And didn't risk the kids at school (if your school was beyond elementary) finding out I was playing something so "uncool" (oddly enough since then I've bought at least one version of each game in the main series). Even though obviously I wasn't the cool kid to begin with.
(strangely I had considered buying Yellow but passed. I see that it's debatable whether it was worth ANOTHER purchase at full price. Which is oddly about the used price even though that's makes no sense because Pokemon is probably one of the top 10 selling GB games ever.)
I loved GBC. Like I said, I didn't have a GB. I had The Mario Land games, Bomberman, Looney Toons, Pokemon Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Bug's Life, Rayman, etc. I was playing tons of fun games on GBC, including the GB games. Game Boy in general made me really excited about GBA, because I saw the resemblence to SNES graphics and reaiized that was in my pocket now.

hahaha, Scar. I agree...for me personally, the NBA(along with every other sport) is ultra weak sauce. I'd rather go through a treacherous night of Sleep Paralysis(Aka the old hag syndrome) then endure that mind numbing repetitive ball plopping poop tarter sauce. Honestly, when it comes to sports i can only handle watching the last two teams duking it on their final game during hockey playoffs....But even then, i couldn't give a waffle!
Ya. I like playing basketball, but watching others do it just doesn't do it for me. Ice Hockey on NES was a blast, though. I used to play that all the time. I would always shut out the computer.

@WaveBoy
Ya. I got to agree that that one looks a good deal better. Slalom, Hoops, and Ice Hockey were basically the only sports games I played on NES, unless you count Kung Fu, which was pretty brutal for a 5 year old.

Didn't know that at the time. Since they were released at the same time and nearly identical packaging I thought Nintendo just figured out some way to add a Pokemon-like trading mechanic to the game (you know, to sell two nearly identical games).
Right now, my two Game Gears. They work a bit but now the screens are black but sound will play. I need to get on fixing them soon. Also my PSP which I sold because I found out my home WiFi is WPA2 and isn't supported by the PSP and I was so bummed about not going online with it.
Favorite Games: Sonic CD, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and Call of Duty: Black Ops, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, and Mega Man 5. My Backlog
Sonic is AMAZING!! Nintendo is AMAZING!! I AM AMAZING!!
Does it work to type the addresses in manually?
I only tried that with my Wii when I got a new modem and found the Wii doesn't auto-detect WPA2.
I didn't try that with PSP because I only ever use online for buying stuff on PSN, so I just bought using Sony's website/MediaGo and then transferred to my PSP with a USB cable.
