Topic: Super Mario Bros. in 3D?

What would it be like if a Super Mario Bros. game was in 3D? Any ideas?

It would be like Super Mario Galaxy or New Super Mario Bros. Wii ... both IN STORES NOW!

It would be sort of like 3-d mode in Super paper mario.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the closest to what the original was like but if the original was in 3D I think Mario 64 is the closest match. I think it would look like Mario 64 but with less interactive characters and more platforming madness. The levels wouldn't be quite as open either.

Even better would be a 2.5D remake of the original and Lost Levels, that would be awesome. And on DS of course so its portable and I can take it EVERYWHERE.

Screw it and go straight to 4-D. Whatever that is.

Isn't there a level in Super Paper Mario that's exactly like one of the levels from the original Super Mario Bros. and you can switch to 3D in it? I guess it would be like that.
