Brief Opinion:
This game is epic, it's a freware game for Windows PC's in which you possess a stupidly large gun. And I must say I'm addicted to it even though it has little relay value.

Longer More review esque:

SUPER BIG GUN ADVENTURE is a short platform adventure that in visuals and sound backtracks to a more retro era of gaming. Large pixelated scenes and sprites make an aesthetically pleasing game to fans of the gaming of old. Yes this looks very much like something from the past and when accompanied by the 1 loop soundtrack dubbed a "Butchered version" of Queens "Don't Stop Me Now" it creates a great gaming experience. The loop does get rather old though, so if you happen to fail at the game you may eventually be put off by the music.

The game is more of a simple platformer using essentially the standard PC FPS controls (WASD + Mouse + Space) to navigate your gentlemen and shoot your "big gun" everywhere. Seems like a simple concept but because it's executed so well you may forget the simple roots of the game and just have plain fun. Your "big gun" is especially fun to use packing lots of power the stream it produces can be used to propel yourself around the level and even be used as a jet pack. There isn't much of a variety in the enemies at all, limited to just environmental hazards and brightly coloured "evil" gentlemen. Okay, okay, there is no proof they are evil. But c'mon they're trying to hurt you and your big gun (We'll be having none of that). The simplicity and lack of variation is the games major downfall but the mechanics make up for it and make for a really fun gaming experience.

The game is a graphical delight for retro junkies and is a really fun little adventure. However, lack of variety in enemies, locations and no incentive for multiple play throughs the game does not reach it's full potential had the developer had more time to make it.

With all that said, I'd give the game a 7/10.
