Topic: Street Fighter V

I think making it one version is a way for Sony to keep it off other platforms (besides PC), because if Capcom made Super Street Fighter V, then they could port it to other systems, since only Street Fighter V is exclusive to consoles on PS4, but a Super version.........they could probably port that to Xbox One/NX if they wanted to I think? : Y

Sony are helping them out here and I would not be surprised if they played a part in being persuasive (for sticking to one version).

They still have a good way of making money after the game is released; you either earn new characters by playing the game (and collecting those coins), or paying (real) money to grab them as soon as possible. I think it is a good way of going about things, personally. Not everybody has a lot of time on their hands!

And yeah, like banana check says, anything Street Fighter related with a V on the end is exclusive. At least we'll get a game that can push one console more so than the other in the end, visuals wise.

I have never been particularly good at playing as Vega, but I sure can have a lot of fun with him!

I am very excited about this game, it removes all the things I don't like about SFIV. It looks like SFV will be a genuine classic and the most refined fighting game ever. My only wish is that the fighters are all balanced.

If Capcom handles this game like Netherrealm did with Mortal Kombat X, I will gladly pick it up. So far what I have played of the beta, it is looking like a solid addition to the SF series.

I just want more women added to the roster because.... reasons.

I am a little bit disappointed about the inclusion of Zangief however, him and Birdie are the only two grabby/wrestling characters in the whole roster so, I can see why Capcom chose Gief as one of the returning characters.

The newcomer from Brazil, Laura, is surprisingly cool and looks to be a decent new character. Not sure what kind of move set she has, given that Famitsu leaked half a dozen screenshots of her, with the video still to come.

I really, REALLY hope the last returning character is Urien! He would be an excellent - and iconic - final boss.

@Peek-a-boo: I agree that seeing Zangief was an eyesore. I wish he wasn't in the roster but somebody has to be a rival to R. Mika... Ugh.

Huh, what's everyone's beef with Zangief?

Just curious, as this is the first time I've heard that he's apparently disliked (I personally think the core SFII cast should be included in all main entries, sort of like Smash & it's original 12).

He's just really meh to me. Not unique.

I agree about the original 8 being included, but the four added in Super Street Fighter II are also very well known. At the same time, some of the Alpha series characters are among the greatest. It is really difficult to only choose twelve characters! Hopefully, DLC fixes this.

Honestly with the way they are doing the DLC this has the potential to be the biggest SF ever....and that makes me really happy.

I just need more art assets released so I can make a stick.
