If you're looking for a decent, free but most importantly fun MMO then look no further. Spiral Knights is an MMO that has you raiding dungeons essentially- hacking and slashing robotic spiders, and gremlin looking creatures. You don't even have to download ANYTHING. Just sign up with you SEGA pass, Facebook profile or register. Want more information because my description of this game is vague (hey, just started playing it for an hour!) then go to the official website: http://www.spiralknights.com/
Of course, there are optional micro transactions that are fairly reasonable and not necessary to enjoy the game.
If you're like me who's lamenting the lack of support for Mac platforms- good news, Spiral Knights is compatible with Mac OS platforms.
Thanks to irken for bringing this game up in another thread. Really appreciate it!
When you sign up, feel free to add me as a friend:
I just discovered that my character has been deleted. It seems they wiped all the preview build character last week. I will be making a new one soon.

I downloaded this today and really liked what little I could play of it. Naturally it's Sega, so I'm going to love it anyway, but I expect I could really play a lot of this if I wanted to.
If I venture into the world again, I'll look to add some of you

Good to hear Should've known you'd be interested since it's from SEGA. It is a pretty good game, and it gets pretty addictive once you're with some friends.
My name is Mikero for anyone else who wants to add me.
Gotcha added.
One thing I'm really enjoying is the 8/16-bit soundtrack that you hear while playing (it's kinda subtle but completely noticeable). For a new game (heck, that's been in development for 4 years), it definitely gives me that CLASSIC Action-Rpg feeling. Anyone into such genres really need to give this game a try. It's addicting and fun! And I really like the art style (heck, I'm in Game Art and have been paying close attention to art styles in video games a lot recently).
Oh, and I keep hearing something about Sonic's 20th anniversary but I'm assuming that's for next year. Surely it will be celebrated in this game.
I think I added everyone Character`s name is Ravage.
@Komic: Yeah, I didn't know what was going on for a while and I had to search their forums to figure it out. I only played a bit of it, but I was happy with my character...

As of now, yes. But it runs pretty well on most computers that I've played it on. It also has simple, customizable controls (including pc gamepad support)
