They don't have to spend tons of money to make a new even more next gen graphics console ASAP that might not make them profit for a long time...again...and the developers don't have to make even more expensive games that they can't afford to make for the most part.

You really need to learn to get your facts straight and stop the anti-Sony rants. Sony themselves are looking to possibly invest 1 Billion dollars into the PS4!

nahhg i see them launch late in a changing marketplace not a good thing. with the battle.for your Tv on the ps4 could be launched in a marketplace where google Tv, apple Tv, and xbox dominate. this leaving the playstation marketshare only to the hardcore takers which would be a giant flop.

the same thing happened in the early 2000s where winy was late too the Lcd game. waiting allied for higher quailty but the marketshare was never gotten back. the same thing is happening now with oled. by next summer oled will be the big thing. with Sony stopping production they will not only miss the initial craze further damning their Tv business.

sort if i sound negative but Sony isn't a company that aspires confidence. by afford i meant risking dropping tsshe vita for the ps4. Sony admitted was when the ps3 dropped the psp became an after thought and marketing was focused on getting the ps3 ready.

Your logic doesn't make sense. N64 was indeed expensive for Nintendo but what does that have to with anything? A small upgraded PS3 with little to nothing new doesn't count as a PS4. No one will buy it. The Wii worked because of motion controlling.

One thing that worries me about a possible PS4 release at some point is the price.
PS3 was 600 bucks at launch. Imagine how much the next system will cost. I'm guessing over 1000.
Might as well buy a new computer for that price. Sony only cares about money and technology.
It's all about having the ultimate power in the universe to them. Then they constantly have to attack Nintendo for being out of date and calling everything they make a baby's play thing. If they go I say good riddance.
I'd rather support a company with class and decency.

Hey Microsoft is doing a good job copying Nintendo. And they haven't been ridiculing the Wii like Sony has.

It's so ironic that Sony kept making fun of the Wii and motion controls, then they have the balls to make their own motion controller that uses extremely similar tech as the Wii Remote!

There is room in this market for all 3 companies. I'd hate to see any of them go, tbh. I'm glad Sony has committed to supporting the PS3 for a bit longer. I wish Microsoft would do the same for the 360. In fact, I wouldn't be sad at all if I got another 2 solid years out of my 360 and PS3 before I had to worry about their next gen console.

They are just calling it as it is. It doesn't mean they don't make fantastic games like Nintendo or something. But it means that they are in a bad spot, and is partly, due to their arrogance mentioned before.

Also, Sony failed misarible with it from what i can gather. I have one PS3 but never was that interested on that horrible control.
