Topic: "Sonic CD" PSN / XBLA remake

Anyone get this game? I downloaded it today and played through a couple levels, and I must say it's a pretty confusing game.

What's the point of having "Future" and "Past" signs scattered throughout the levels? Does the game's ending change depending on which time period you beat?

Also, while the music for the most part is good, I don't like Sonic's new jumping sound. It's too high pitched, and I noticed Sonic Generations uses the exact same jumping sound for Classic Sonic.

Seriously thought he music is awful. That is NOT the original music. Where's my Sonic Boom at?

@VJ: Sonic Boom is in the American soundtrack. It includes both the American and Japanese soundtracks.

You know Sonic Boom was the music made only for america and the Japan and Euro games have the real soundtrack.

American soundtrack, Japanese soundtrack, Dutch soundtrack, whatever. It's still better than that crap.

In the Past levels there's a couple of things that you have to destroy. If you destroy them, it'll say that you made a good future once you beat the act. You want to make a good future in all the levels to get the good ending (and collect all the Time Stones in the special levels).

This is hilarious considering it is the original music that accompanied the Japanese release of Sonic CD and then was inexplicably changed for the American release.

I was sad they couldn't get the rights to the lyrics of Toot Toot Sonic Warrior, but that didn't stop me from singing along anyways.

I was more of a fan of Cosmic Eternity.

I really wish I wouldn't have got Sonic CD on my iphone a week before I bought my 360. It would have been so much better on a console and not on a touch screen. Oh well. Anything real new about it in the XBlive version?
