Aside from entertaining commentary, I think watching a good LP is a great way to get to know a game! I'm aware of chuggaaconroy's lp's and nintendocaprisun's, but I was wondering if there were any really good lesser know lper's. Suggestions?

If you want a good minecraft let's player you can't do any better than Captainsparklez!

you know whats funny i used to do lets play under the name thesmashingbrawls and i got about 150 subs then i just quit i only had done
mega man 10, Portal, klonoa and i was about halfway done with mario kart wii and 100% Yu-gi-oh when i can get money enough to capture good video i plan on starting again

Clementj642 or "The Great Clement" has some entertaining lp's of the Mega Man and Sonic series with stuff like DKC thrown in between.

There's a big difference as they actually know how to do comedy and are well known for it.

I make Pixel Art on occasion.
