Anyone play this online? And if so, want to play a game versus me?
If you haven't heard of this, it's a 4X real-time strategy game. It's not new, been out for quite awhile, but it's up for it's second expansion to be released in february. http://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/

The first expansions expands on fortification, starbases and defensive research mostly. It's pretty good, starbases are awesome. The upcoming expansions will meat out diplomacy a lot.

slim interest for this game i see, guess we're the only one interested in RTS. Well, the skirmishes are still great, let me know if you ever decide to pick it up.

Yeah, I just bough Company of Heroes Golda week or so ago. So it might be a little while, although, I hear it may be coming to Steam. If it gets a good sale there, I might buy it.

It will probably never see a release on Steam, since the game is published by Stardock who also owns and runs the "rival" company Impulse where it's being distributed today.

I have the demo, but I always assumed it was way too over my head, and I have some friends who play it religiously who always made it seem ultra complex. But thanks to that review, I think I'll give it a try some time. Looks a pretty interesting and user-friendly.

@Mickey it took me 2 skirmishes to get the basics, that was with a friend over skype though who had played it from before. But it's not really a problem once you've done a couple games.
@Ravage if it's still on sale then it will probably be there for a long time. because it's not one of their current promotions.
