Ah I see what you mean. I was wondering if you were one of those "core gamers" who hated the existence of easy modes
Anyway, I would agree with that statement. I think that all games should have a decently challenging "Normal" difficulty along with an "Easy" for newcomers and a "Hard" for the more "core" gamers

He means Nintendo's core market, Mario fans. More Mario in everything. Amiibo Yoshi in Zelda.
I hope he means they're going to make some serious sport sims. Licensed Golf, Tennis, Baseball and Bowling games that played like their Wii U sports counterparts but actually had depth beyond the gameplay and 3 minigames. They also need racing sims, a football game. Nintendo should buy EA. Imagine the Syndicate Wars, Theme Park, Populous, Magic Carpet, Freedom Fighters and Sim sequels we could get. But they won't because they're pussies.
I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.
I hear you on Nintendo needing sports titles as well as racing games...
But I don't think EA would be a good fit,......Capcom however, and it's IP's (Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Devil May Cry) etc....But they won't, because they're pussies X2.

Catering to "core" gamers is exactly why they made Wii in the first place, though. All I see is complaining about Nintendo "ditching the core" with the Wii and the types of games it brought, but they made that move, because people didn't buy GCN. GCN had alot of the major 3rd party games with tons of "core" exclusive games like REmake, RE0, RE4, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, Tales of Symphonia, etc.
The"core" gamer left Nintendo during GCN, so why would they keep trying to appeal to those people? If Nintendo wouldn't have done what they did with the Wii, they probably really would be dead.
