Topic: Should I buy a PS3

I have an Xbox 360 , Wii , DSI and PSP 3000 and I am wondering if I should buy a PS3 as I am feeling bored of my Xbox and the games are not getting much better Gears3 if the onlt thing I want this year for it so I am wondering should I buy a PS3?or not. I am not an Xbox hater as I have 22 games for It and 8 arcade titles plus san andreas on my hardrive I just feel the console is at its peek and doesn't have a future as I am going to renew my live as it runs out soon but I doubt I will in 2012.Thank you for any answers.

Why I need some good reasons.

Depends on what you're interested in. There aren't many exclusives on the PS3 - mostly Sony games and sub-Par JRPGs. I'm in the same situation as you, and have been thinking of getting a PS3 as well. The games I'm interested in are the Ratchet & Clank games, Wipeout HD, Sly 4, FFvsXIII, Tales of Graces F, Folklore, Eternal Sonota, Disgaea 3 and 4, Persona 5 (if it's not multi-console), Atelier Ronona, 3D Dot Heroes, and Demon's Souls (which is getting a multi-console sequel that may end up being the better game). Alternatively, you could always look for more obscure Xbox 360 games, which I highly suggest.

Here are some reasons. God of war Gran turismo little big planet heavy rain. I'm seeing a pattern here. Most of Sony's in House games are worth it by themselves.

If you liked the PS2 you'll definitely like the PS3. But unlike the PS2 the PS3 is a multimedia console in the sense it does much more than play games. You can play music, surf the net, play Blu Ray movies, etc. The exclusive games alone are worth getting the PS3, with games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Demon Souls, Ratchet and Clank series, Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet, God of War 1-3, Resistance 1 and 2, and Uncharted, you can't go wrong. Downloading PS classics is a must, along with that you can download a variety of demos for PS3 and PSP games to play before you buy.

The exclusives that are on the system are great. As Mickeymac said, Ratchet & Clank, Sly 4, 3D Dot and then all of those amazing JRPGs (including FFXIII-2 and Valkyria Chronicles) :3

Then there's Infamous 1 and 2, Uncharted 1, 2 and 3, Metal Gear Solid 4 if you like stealthy games, LittleBigPlanet 2 of course, Heavy Rain, and the upcoming The Last Guardian. Hmm... the list looks smaller then in my head, but all of these games should last you a while. I would mention PSone games, but I just noticed that you have a PSP so nvm

I did forget to mention all of the PSN exclusives, and like Chrono Cross said, it's a great multimedia console :3

What I use my PS3 for is its exclusives, multi-platform I buy on Xbox. The PS3 has some of the best exclusives on a console. Uncharted 1 and 2 being the best with 3 on the way.
