Topic: SEGA to bring back their brand

If they would just make a new Jet Set Radio I'd forgive all they've done.

@Fazzie_Bear: That could be great where they can have something like virtual console(master system,Genesis,saturn,dreamcast,etc.)or a handheld system for game gear,nomad,and vmu.Let's call it a dreamcast lite.(a digtal dreamcast with a sd card and 8 gb hard drive and price it cheap.

A new console is all well and good but Sega haven't made must have games in so long that there wouldn't be anything to sell it with and Steam is a much more viable solution for getting your Sega retro fix.

My biggest concern with this is how (not that long ago) SEGA announced that we're mainly focusing on mobile games. How can you try and gain back trust in fans and make yourself a brand again if you mainly make mobile games?

I'd love to see some new takes on classic SEGA IPs though. I'm just not going to hold my breath.

@KryptoKrunch: They mentioned PC gaming as well which does make more sense since they can easily port console and handheld games directly to PC. Granted, it would lose its value of exclusivity but when you hear from a CEO......you're hearing the word "Money" instead of "love" and "loyalty".

Ok going off topic here.....has SEGA done anything revolutionary at all? Because they haven't won anything in the Interactive Arts and Science Hall of Fame.....Granted, so in the case of many and yes its just one award compared to so many others but its one where innovation is respected and that's what's making me wonder....what SEGA did do to the industry besides being in their glory days?

So I just saw footage of Tembo (not saying the whole title because its just not a good one tbh) and so far it looks like a fun game. Of course being a game made by Game Freak and not by SEGA and yet they published it to make it sound like a SEGA game, but not made by SEGA doesn't mean that the quality is from SEGA but from Game Freak instead.

Let's hope Sega change its bad ways by releasing good or requested games. Like Sonic Adventure 3.

@NightmareEater: Personally, if I were experienced enough, I'd pitch Sonic Adventure 3 and make it a reality. Heck, I'd work twice hard to remaster the entire trilogy and I'm not kidding.
