This game is fantastic. Im glad to have a 360 to play this. Like a mixture of Streets of Rage (moves wise) and The simpsons (graphically). I cant believe I actually like something that UBISOFT have done.

Shame about nintendo's ridiculous 50mb size limit as its prevented lots of good games coming to nintendo.

The soundtrack by Anamanaguchi is incredible, so fitting for a game.

This actually is a really good game. It would be cool if WiiWare got more titles along these lines.

I think I really just want an excuse to use my fightstick on something other than Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom

So many references. lol

The glass door before the final boss is even a reference to Streets of Rage plus the lift (elevator) going down is.

The best one has to be Kim's slap move that comes from a certain Street Fighter character.

This game is like the sequal to River City Ransom that I've always been waiting for. Its deffinetly one of the best games I've played all year.

.... or something like that.

MysteriousVoice

Indeed, I love this.
Too bad Ive only played it at a friends house, so far.

I thought the demo was mildly fun, but I hated the hit detection and run mechanic, it all felt a bit sluggish.

Send me the best you've got. Send me your strongest machines. The fight my brother fought, here, now, will end with me.

I almost bought this tonight, but went with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night instead, as I had never played that before and have heard nothing but good things. So far, I really like it. Then again, I haven't explored much, and I can easily see myself getting frustratingly lost later on.

Ah well. That's what rainy days are for, right?

I also bought Castlevania it a month or so ago. There is a map, it helps a bit, but doesn't show a lot of detail. I think I have beaten one boss, but I'm not sure if it was a boss. It was actually two monsters; one that flies, on the doesn't... The only real hard part about those guys was that the first time I did not find the save/heal room just before them and ended up dying and having to get all the way back. Although, it wasn't too bad. The saves seem nicely spread out too. Overall, I like what I've played so far; which isn't much.

On topic: Looks pretty good, might get it sometime, but not right now. I'm poor!

Scott Pilgrim is a pretty fun little game. I'll agree that it feels a little sluggish but nothing that really gets too annoying.

This game is freaking awesome, it's just a shame there is no online multiplayer.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

The only thing I don't like about the game is the characters start out very weak (making the game quite hard, even on the easy settings) but once you increase their stats (by buying items), the game becomes a bit too easy.

Besides that, it has cool music (almost as good as Street of Rage music), great 8/bit graphics and the game play actually works, which a lot of other beat them ups fail at. I'm looking at you Sailor Moon!

The game sometimes freezes on occassion...which is very annoying.

It's not froze on me.

You have to play it for awhile before it happens...I've heard a few complaints about how it occassionally freezes and I had hoped it was a minority...then it happened to me...twice. >_<
