Jake Kaufman's bandcamp page is a great place to start. There also used to be Game Music Bundle featuring lots of chiptunes and game music for indies, with the occasional retro classic.

For what it's worth, the best chiptune soundtrack ever is Fez by Disasterpeace, albeit a game on almost every platform except Nintendo.
