Alright you know what if this game is not coming to the wiiu, well then screw it just give me 3ds version of this. And i will be happy you know what many people will be happy if they remember the console that made them money. But you know what i have a gut feeling they are going to screw nintendo and not release this game on any of there systems.God i hope i'm wrong.

That's exactly what I'm thinking here. It scares me that it won't happen. Look what Capcom said there not going to release Street Fighter for Wii U. So what makes you think there going to give Nintendo RE?? I hope I'm wrong.

Let me get this straight.... One of the biggest reasons why Capcom is even alive right now is because of how well Monster Hunter sells on 3DS. Mega Man is getting love in Smash Bros. Resident Evil: Revelations was a hit on 3DS and alot of people enjoyed it. So instead of showing Nintendo and the fanbase gratitude... we don't get Resident Evil or even Street Fighter?!?!?!?!?!

Sounds about right this is what I mean Nintendo is not doing anything to change.....

You can't blame Nintendo for being bitter about the situation. You really expect them to suck up their pride and throw money AT Capcom to put games on Wii U/3DS?! C'mon. You wouldn't do it either!!!

See that's the type of attitude that gets people away from Nintendo consoles (Wii U). A lot of people blame Nintendo for there actions. I do too. I don't see them doing anything and the only thing keeping Nintendo floating on water is the 3DS....THEN WHO IS TO BLAME?

Wii U's are actually making a profit for Nintendo now. They aren't selling for a loss anymore. So the 3DS isn't the only thing keeping Nintendo afloat. 2: Don't get me wrong. Nintendo should do things to try to get more 3rd party games but some of these developers are just being unfaithful or too demanding. Nintendo is trying to create as many good exclusives for Wii U.

Actually... Street Fighter for Xbox One and PS4 is a cash grab but wouldn't be for Wii U

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

Which is why they keep releasing Monster Hunter on 3DS... cuz they know it makes them the most money. Hence why that exclusive contract was even born to begin with for Monster Hunter.

Because the Monster Hunter audience is on the 3DS. Is the Resident Evil audience?

@kereke12 The situation with Ubisoft is very complicated and different than Capcom's situation. Don't just generalize developers situations with the Wii U. You know what? Forget it. I'm out of here.

@Aviator Resident Evil: Revelations and Mercenaries released exclusively on 3DS... They both did NOT sell bad.

I don't think no one is blind for not wanting the game on the 3DS...more games the better....it's only logical....or am I missing something?

I'm giving them a few more chances only because I have big hope a Mega Man game is coming exclusively to Nintendo platforms. Nintendo deserves it. If a Mega Man game comes and it ignores every Nintendo platform then Capcom will be a step away from being dead to me.

Keep in mind that a business doesn't always do what's profitable, they do what is the most profitable.

There's a difference between an accounting profit and a normal profit. Accounting profit is all numbers, and it's the one everyone seems to clamor about. Accounting profit is simple, it's revenue minus cost. Everyone points that out, but it's more complicated when you factor in normal profit. Normal profit is revenue minus cost minus the revenue earned from doing the next best thing. If normal profit is greater than 0, then it's the best thing to do. If normal profit is less than 0, then a typical business will ditch the old method and "the next best thing" becomes the best thing, thus increasing their accounting profit.

It may be true that a 3DS or Wii U version of the game may be profitable, accounting wise. But if they choose not make those versions, it most likely was because the expected normal profit was less than 0.

The business excuse?

Games cost time and money to make. Can Capcom justify spending the predicted time/money spent on creating a 3DS and/or a Wii U version? Probably not.

Okay. Revelations sold 1.1 million on PC/Consoles. It sold (and I'm giving an educated guess here) just under 900,000 on the 3DS. You're right, the games sold well, one version more than the other.

Here's what the producer said about Re Rev's 3DS sales:

"Going by the 3DS market at the time we released the game, it was definitely a success and we're certainly hoping we can repeat that success with the home console version.

Given the large development costs we had on the 3DS version, we would have liked to have even a little more sales than we did in the end. But that doesn't mean we saw it as a failure by any means."

The 3DS's install base is way bigger now than when the first game came out. I think Capcom should at least do a 3DS version. I don't understand how they wouldn't justify a 3DS version when the install base is bigger and they saw the first game as a success.

The only way they would do a 3DS version is if it was developed for that platform first. They aren't going to develop it primarily for the PS360 and then hose it down so that it can run on 3DS.

I hate it when they say, "it was a success, but it could have done better." HOW INFLATED IS YOUR BUDGET WHEN STUFF LIKE REVELATIONS ISN'T A SUCCESS? (just like with Tomb Raider, and others)

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
