dont know how to answer the l2 and r2 buttons question, not sure if you're asking if the games were altered for psp or if they have aged over time.

if u mean aged over time the best thing i can recommend is youtubing gameplay and seeing if it is torturous to watch, i ran into that with a few games where the graphics had literally just aged too bad.

if this isnt what you meant, just ignore me haha

was asking if they were altred for the psp

Just map them when they are needed it is kinda annoying IN TM2 Just map the L1 and R1 to L and R and map L2 to triangle and map Triangle to Square and map Square to Circle Just find the custom controlls that fits you

I have spyro 3 on my psp, and it works great! It is exactly like the ps1 version, except for a few extra options. You can adjust the screen, sort of like on a widescreen TV, to get a zoomed in picture that takes up the whole psp screen or you can go for a bordered screen retaining the original aspect ratio. In addition, you have several control options available to you that you can go through. This allows you to have different options for what you want to use as the L2 and R2 buttons. For instance, I have left on the digital pad for L1 and right for R2, and thus use the analog stick for movement. Its pretty easy to find something that works for a certain game. I love playing the classic ps1 games on the psp and I think works well.

Yep Just Push Home on the PSP you can select Screen size Disk load speed Controls Brightness Volume Customize what ever you want the way you want! you can even see the original manuals of the PS1 games they even keep the old phone numbers on the manuals xD

@andy...... Dont know if you know this yet, but you can put your PSone games in your PSP and connect your PSP to your PS3 online and play them anywhere. I turned my PS3 on from 5 hours away awhile back and played Parasite Eve 2 wich was in my PS3, left there on purpose of course, awhile back. Really cool little trick. To help with your other question, the analog pushed left is L2 and right R2, and all controls as previously mentioned can be adjusted. I havent found a game that it runs intoa problem with.
