I'm going to be getting a PSP for sure but I just don't know if I will be getting the Go or the 3000. There are so many games coming out that I just can't resist any longer.
The PSP already had downloadable games long before the DSi came along.
And Apple had downloadable games for a portable system before either of them.
Correct regarding Apple, but the downloadable content PSP's previously offered--as I understand it--was very different in nature from what they're hoping to achieve with "Mini." Instead of larger games at higher price tags, the idea is now to go more in the direction of DSiWare and Apple (but I'll agree that it's probably Apple they primarily have in their sights) by focusing on downloadable games that are smaller, better suited to portable gaming, cheaper, and more easily published by smaller indie developers.

I just don't post as frequently as I once did and that's in part because of the lack of discussion I care to partake in and because I've been preoccupied with other things the past month or so.
@AlexSays.... good to see you back posting lol. Yeah I do agree with you as usual. Even Sony has said their main competetion is with the iPhone and they are pushing big time to get the iPhone Devs to port and develop on the PSP Minis. BUT this does compete with DSiWare, not that its a whole lot of competetion at the moment but its still.
