Topic: PSP go games

I don't have soul calibur but I genrally don't like fighting games so I am guessing that my opinion doesn't matter

Will be getting halfminute hero on tuesday also I will probably get persona and soul calibur when the prices go down

Anybody got anything new? And by the way, should I get Daxter when I get my PSP go? I'm a fan of Jak and Daxter and Platformers, so I think it will probably be worth $20, but tell me your opinions!

Daxter is a great little platformer. Well worth the $20.

@Corbie.... Im ready to see a PS3 release of Jak and Daxter.... and maybe one day we will finally get a new Sly Cooper.

I didn't like Daxter to much. It pretty much had everything I like about Jak and Daxter (big open world, messing around with the guards, the story etc.) ripped out of it. It's ok, it just isn't Jak (pre or post time skip).

I'd love to see a PS3 Jak & Daxter game and my wife has long wanted a new Sly Cooper release. And anyone that hasn't tried out Thexder Neo yet, it's pretty dang good. Square's PR firm sent it to me the other day and it's turned out to be really good.

@Corbie... Thexder Neo is fun? It looked like it would be but some videos I watched looked like the control weren't too precise wich kinda threw me off. It is good huh?

I used to enjoy the original Thexder back when I had my Apple IIgs computer. But this one is even better. The control is actually pretty solid.

Cool Ill have to check it out then. I was kinda hopin the price would drop down a bit on it as Ive heard its not very long at all. I think Im prob grabbing the Ratchet and Clank PSN game as its only $10 bucks this week. Maybe next week Ill be playin some Thexder then. Thanks for the heads up on it cause it definately did spark my little shooter nerve ;D

@slapshot - R&C is fantastic...I actually got it the last time it went on sale to 9.99 (from 19.99, then went to perma-14.99) and it was well worth the money. Short but sweet.

Is Racthet and Clank: Size Matters anygood as well, and if so what is its price on the PSN Store? Finally how about opinions on Gran Turismo PSP Corbie (or anyone else for that matter!)

yes, is good, one of the few good PSP games, as well as one of the few plattforming titles for the system...

I wouldn't buy Gran Turismo PSP, Racing sims are not for portables...

I don't mind the portable racing simes, I'm very lineant on graphics, so I'm just looking to see you opinions. Also I'm mainly asking becuase I will either get Gran Turismo or Motorstorm: Artic Edge for my PSP go, and I need to know which is better. Also as for Ratchet and Clank, what about price?

@Supermarioman.... Do NOT buy the Star Wars games on PSP. Im a Star Wars DieHard and those games are not very good. Ratchet and Clank Size Matters is VERY good. Make sure you make the L and R buttons shift the camera (not sure if it was default i dont think so) and that fixes camera issues, the game is fantastic. When you beat the game you start the game over again with harder enemies and the guns are freakin INSANE so you will definately play the game 2 times. A lot of bang for you buck. Not sure if its downloadable yet. The PSN Ratchet and C is only $10 USD right now so Im sure they will do a price drop on PSP RandC for the release of the new PS3 game as well.

You should get god of war coo and gran turismo

God of War: Chains of Olympus is not a very good game, unless you are a fan of the series or a Sony fanboy lol... it's very short, quite easy (the entire game can be finished just smashing the same 2 buttons, in the same order, every time), and it overall feels like a cheap Prince of Persia ripoff that lacks the acrobatics and adds (unnecessary) blood and gore... it's a graphic showcase of what the PSP can do, but there's little more to it than that...
